MEEBLE BURROWS: Please allow pheremone sacks to regenerate more quickly

So...

I just recently found out that meeble burrows can now be done solo, and wow, I had a lot of fun today doing runs.

I used up my 10 sacks stored, and here I was excited to do more, I was thinking, "yay, I'll get home from work and I should have another sack or two that I can use to finish up the Assistant expedition I am on - goodie!"

And then I get home, only to discover, I'm still locked out of the content by extremely slowly regenerating key items.

Could you please examine the feasibility of increasing the regeneration of Pheremone sacks? 20 hours is way too long, especially given how short a run is. It basically means I have to wait days and days to save up sacks to bother gearing up and doing a run.

I totally get that the area is not instanced and you guys worry about congestion, but lately I see like 800 people on the server - and of course, at least 1/3 of those characters are bazaar mules or otherwise AFK

I did see a couple other folks at the NPCs while I was doing it, but surely the game can handle more than 2 or 3 people doing the event at once? I just think you guys ought to consider doing everything in your power to ensure that when players are enjoying themselves - they can do the events they like.

I know that increasing sack regeneration would make it easier to gather research marks, but with ilevel gear most of the gear is meh anyway, so balance-wise that shouldn't be an issue.

Please make it easier for players to advance in this kind of content that is outdated. Thank you for your consideration.

I think they might do this since in the last freshly picked they mentioned a meebles event of some kind.

I sure hope so. It would be nice for them to regenerate fast enough that I could do a tier every couple days.

Unless I am mistaken... Back before Adoulin, a few months before to be more specific, there was talk of a third Meebles area with KIs being released at the same time, these KIs would lower the time between sacks just as the previous update to Meebles added Batallia and the KIs to increase how many you could have.

This is the same kinda system they had with Abyssea & VW, 3 KIs to increase the carry capacity and 3 KIs to decrease wait times between KIs with the only difference being this time it would be capacity on the NPC rather than on oneself.

The thing is, with Adoulin around the corner and them hitting crunch time on getting it out they basically abandoned the third area which would likely be in Rolanberry. At the same time since it's 99 content it's unlikely to ever be truly expanded upon ever again, at least in the case of the event yes there's some hope but I think it's minor since the events also take place in all kinds of level ranges but haven't really correlated with an actual update to the content such as Abyssea's events yet apparent lack of any updates what so ever.

I really enjoyed Meeble Burrows and always wanted that third branch out in Rolanberry but it seems unlikely to me to ever happen since Adoulin has made level 99 a thing of the past, and unless Meebles looks severely lopsided when it comes to gear levels, Meebles will be simply left behind without ever being finished.



One update I think we could see however, and would love to see, would be a reduction in KI costs. Right now even after you complete everything it's a full 1 million gil per person per run to fight the final boss in Sauromugue, if you do the runs normally it's around 3 weeks a run which is far to long for this level of content. Caution has been expressed when it comes to lowering times on things like Assault Tags because of the relation to Mythic, but this content has no relation to anything of the sort. Changing this would be a small but very welcome thing, while it may not change the restock time on sacks it could surely mitigate the annoyance the sacks bring when it comes to people who have completed the content at very least.

Actually it does have connections to two different things. It's just not many people do the other two things much these days. Meebles shares the same instances as MMM and WoTG fights take place.

I realize congestion is a worry, but very few people do this content. It was sad yesterday I mentioned doing it in my LS and others like doing it but because our KIs are all at different states it makes it very hard to play together because we don't have enough sacks to catch up/get on same content

Save up on those ki's for the event. Holy crap too bad the changes to what you can get is only during the event.

I luckily have about 80 NQ worms and 20 or so +1 worms already stored up, so will be eagerly looking forward to spending them on roulette. Don't know how many KI I will be storing until then though - worms can be stored either way. If I cap out on worms though, yeah I will wait.

I don't remember if I have any or if I'm sitting on max worms on some of the lower types. Can't bloody wait for the event. Just hope they do lower the time between the sacks.

We definitely understand the requests to reduce the amount of time before pheromone sacks regenerate; however, Meeble Burrows has been allocated a certain amount of instance server resources and it would be a bit difficult to adjust this at the moment. With the newly added Delve content as well as the upcoming Meeble Burrows Campaign, there is a concern for possible congestion, so we would like to keep an eye on this for the time being.

The campaign was announced with consideration for the time needed to regenerate pheromone sacks, so we’d like you all to start saving up from here on out if you plan on participating in the campaign.
