Super Kupowers

Hey, Kupo!

The Development Team is currently making progress on combining the “Mystery Boxes” super kupower effects, which should be implemented in the next version update.
With that said, that leaves 3 spots to fill with new super kupowers! We have been looking into what kind of effects we can add, and as a result of our discussions we’ve narrowed it down to 4 possibilities:

1. Double duration of food effects
2. Double the amount of conquest points received
3. Crystals will be dropped in beastmen controlled areas
4. Shops that sell San d’Oria/Bastok/Windurst specific items will sell them full-time

Let us know which of the above are your top 3 choices!

Please do not choose #3.

My 3 would be

1. Double the amount of CP received.
2. Shops that sell San d'Oria/Bastok/Windurst specific items will sell them full-time.
3. ???

I will put ALL THREE of my votes to #2. Put in the mix three times even. zomg I need conquest points if I'm ever gonna leave Windy...

Edit: Someone did point out to me the food one is nice for skill-ups... so I guess that's throw TWO of my votes to CP. :o

No one wants anymore damn crystals. They're just inventory cloggers.

If we have no choice but to pick only those four, then I'd definately say 1, 2, and 4. There are plenty of ways to obtain crystals, and the best ways don't even involve killing regular monsters. In fact, it'd be awesome if SE added the option of turning off crystal drops entirely when you have Signet/Sigil/Sanction active, heh.

Crystals are nice but anyone who wants them can farm in Sky or from other sources of elementals.

1,2, and 4. Finally some good news and great ideas, a breath of fresh air after the deluge of idiotic response from the developer bros in Japan.

Best: 2. Double the amount of conquest points received
Second Best: 1. Double duration of food effects
Still Good: 4. Shops that sell San d’Oria/Bastok/Windurst specific items will sell them full-time

Again, 1, 2, 4.

But just the fact that you're finally combining all three of those dumb Mystery wasted-Super-Kupower-Slots into only one power instead of four is amazing news in and of itself.

2, 2, 2. Oh, they can't all be the same? Then 2, 1, 4. In that order. If I may suggest a completely new power, though, I would suggest increased seal/geode drop rates.

Is there a particular reason they have to be replaced?

First off: either put decent stuff in the mystery boxes or eliminate them as an option. All four of your suggested kupopowers are superior to the "increase mystery box" super powers.
Secondly: 1,2 and 4 are the best choices IMO
Thirdly: the crystal option should be to make them drop of mobs that don't get xp. Or better yet make a power that drops geodes off mobs that don't give xp so I can at least hunt flame geodes in valkurm dunes.

Option 5: Magic skill up bonus.

How about auto-reraise?

Double food effect duration
Double conquest point gain
Shops sell nation-specific items full-time

Larger font size signifies greater importance.

At the same time, wouldn't it be cool if the conquest NPCs suddenly had some new and fancy items we could spend our CP on? That would be fabulous.

because getting the same power in all three slots is really, really aggravating, especially since the mystery boxes powers are absolutely useless for anything except being helpful grinding GoV chests.

I don't really care for any of these powers.
Obviously 3 sucks.

I'd like to see a power that brings us more seals/geodes/etc.
2x Conquest Points means almost nothing, since you get VERY LITTLE CP from anything we do these days. This might have been nice when people actually did exp parties in normal zones. [You get so little exp/mob in page parties that the amount of CP you get is ridiculously low.]

Option 5: Regain 1TP/tic up to 50% >_>

Otherwise, 2 --> 1 --> 4

How about replacing:

with something actually useful like:

Seals and geodes will drop more often. (Enhances the drop rate of Geodes/Seals and Avatarites so that more than one of any time can drop in a shorter timeframe. As of now only a seals share the same pool and geodes/avarites share the same pool, only from each pool can drop every 3 minutes for each party in the alliance. This was test/confirmed before. If you're solo you want see more than 1 seal or geode per 3-5min or so, no matter how many mobs you kill you can't seem to bypass this time constraint. Probably built this way to prevent massive AoE burning of seals back at low level cap, now it's simply a nuissance.

Holy moly, if "increased beastmen's seal/kindred's seal drop rate" was an option, I'd put that for all three kupowers.

Especially new players (yes, they exist) are having problems getting a significant amount of bseals/kseals these days, because leveling is so fast. I know a new guy who's gotten one job to 85 and another to 70 without leeching for a second, and still doesn't have enough seals to do a single bcnm40 to get a very needed utsu ni scroll. Increased bseal drop rate would help these a lot.

Poor new players, they have to get to sky in order to reliably farm crystals.

Idk, i'm getting crystals out the wazoo without going to sky too. You end up with tons of them from doing magian trials.

Ice/Dark elementals can be found in the northlands no problem, Wind, Earth, Thunder, and Water, are absolutely everywhere; that leaves fire and light, which are both admittedly obnoxious, but there are plenty of fire crystal mobs in areas that are absolutely never under beastmen control, and light crystals are a bitch to farm whether you have sky or not.

Besides, since when was getting sky access difficult?

Edit: also yea, I'm gonna join in the voting for boosted seal/geode drop rate as an alternative, so that, doubled CP, and the Vendor one, because I'm a crafter and it's always obnoxious getting mats for GP items when conquest lets you down.

These are the correct choices.

Edit: I'm assuming that #4 is the shop inventory that is based on conquest standing. Perhaps this could be expanded to include having all regional vendors open as well?

Now we'll have four chance of being able to get quickening weekly.

1, 2, 4. No particular order.

As a crafter I have to say number 4 is the most important to me. 1 and 2 are also great.

Mystery boxes helps TONS when farming the rare GOV items. Hence I like that it's still there - just now for most everywhere!

If #1 stacks with Sanction and/or Sigil it would be amazing! As per I'd say #1, #2 and #4 because I don't think there's really big server wide lack of crystals and #3 just doesn't even compare to the other 3 possibilities in my opinion. I mean #3 might add 1 extra stack of crystals to the AH if that considering most people that farm crystals farm elementals which drop clusters regardless of whether they're in beastman controlled areas or not.
