56k(bit) is 7 kB per second. 7 kB *60 * 60 = 25200 kB, which is 25.2 MB.
Minus overhead, of course. On my 64kbit isdn back in the day, I would never get more than 7.6 kB, even if the theoretical maximum was 8. This also assumes perfect signal quality, which often wasn't the case, considering 56k dialup was an analogue connection type. It was common for 56k users to get connected at for example 48k. -
