Gravity II

The recast time on Gravity II is ridiculous, there is no other spell in the game that has a higher tier spell with a lower timer.

Please make it double at least, of what Gravity is.


(I'm being sort of a jerk here, but hoping that by doing this, the above won't happen.)

... I'm not sure why it has to be double that of Gravity I. Gravity I's recast shouldn't have been that long. Slow and Slow II have the same recast, Para/Blind 2's is double, Dia 3's is 1 second longer. SE can do what they want really.

(I understand you don't want it to happen but don't understand why it's so ridiculous the recast is so short; especially since it's not like Gravity I lands on anything of merit...)

Out of all of abyssea, there's like two mobs that can be hit with gravity. Itzapotptl and Crein-Croin.

I don't think preemptive complaints will work, especially when you don't actually know what the attributes of the spell are.

Have people done any testing on the server yet with this?

Currently I'm of the opinion that its going to suck and suck hard core. It'll land on lower tier trash NM's, last 10~15s, and the NM's will build resistance after two to three casts. Higher tier NMs will be completely immune and the spell will have zero effect anywhere else.

Out of all the enfeebles SE could look at, they chose the absolute worst one, heck Blind is more useful now then gravity. They could of given us Dia IV, Slow III, Paralyze III, Bind II or a new line of -stat enfeebles similar but more potent then the elemental line. But no, they chose the spell that's only function was to allow a RDM to solo kite / pin an older NM, that lasts an incredibly short duration, and that is only used as a last resort after a Bind failure.
