Please make the bonus exemplar campaign permanent, so that every month, a 500,000 exemplar point bonus is available, in the form of double exemplar points earned, up to the bonus limit.
The entire point of a campaign is to make something exciting, making it permanent is counter productive.
None of them are exciting. Conversely, when they are down you are completely unmotivated to do that thing entirely.
They also encourage you to hyper fixate on the event when they are up, because it's the only optimal time to do it, so you play more and play longer.
They are more harmful than good.
On some mmorpg games where they have limited ability to add new content, they cycle dungeons. They take some dungeons out, putting them back later and they do this to add variety by cycling dungeons in and out so players don't just do the best one or whatever.
When you have campaigns on XI, you in effect put content into "worth doing" category (even though ppl do it out of this time) and so push players into doing them. Whether it's card farming, crafting or xp.
If you goto any XP spot right now it's packed, cause of the campaign. When boosted card drop campaign is running, everyone is doing it just cause it feels more worth it.
It works very well. If people do the same thing every day it gets tedious, campaigns make them diversify or they feel more rewarded for doing it. If it becomes the norm, it's no longer special.
For instance, adding the dark campaign as a full time thing has greatly reduced the crowd size around the npc. People who used to do it every day during the campaign, now barley do it at all.
That's literally the point. When there's limited time you HAVE to do it. If it's up all the time, it's not a big deal.
They are always going to be very protective of exemplar boosts, they have no reason to help players cap them.
Well there is a reason, and its because pretty much everyone uses bots/scripts to do it because of the obscene amount of time it takes to max a single job (You could cap the majority of jobs to 99 at EXP rates comparable to current EP rates in the time it takes to ML50 one job- obviously level 99 doesn't take nearly as long as it used to, but if it did, you'd STILL lv99 I think like 18 of 22 jobs.)
While I can certainly grind Locus mobs solo just fine, without scripts and multiboxing it would take an even more obscene amount of time on the jobs that I play most- basically there's "savage blade jobs" and "everyone else." so I 'm not going to pretend I don't sometimes join up with someone I know is probably automating it in some way, because it's so ridiculous that it's hard for even me to maintain my integrity.
Make Exemplar Point campaign permanent to me, means make it so every month, you can get double exemplar points up to 1M total (500k bonus) each month.
It would still leave a time gate, while relaxing it slightly for people who bot/cheat and are already getting 10M+ a week probably. For those of us who don't even bother anymore because the grind is too great once you're past M.JOB 30, we may actually bother doing it a bit since we're basically getting double points all month long. Especially if we're just grinding out Limbus & Sortie as our only real sources of exemplar points.

Enspell 2 should work on multihit attacks as enspell 1 does, the bonuses from enspell 2 are inferior and so almost everyone uses enspell 1 over enspell 2.
Enspell 1 is overwritten by auspice and among other things and makes it annoying to use, making enspell 2 work in the same way enspell 1 works would make the spells far better for most red mages and would be a good QoL improvement.

1. Permnant exp buff [from last event]
Reason : i returning player after 10 years break from ffxi , new account for 3 months now and i am interested in endgame stuff only , leveling in this game takes a really long time espcially amongest small of groups of friends who want to try multiple jobs and create our static to try end game content. the last exp event encouraged us to finally try new classes and finish main ones. why the grind still here , this 2025 not 2010. kindly allow us to try new jobs in easier manner :D the 2100 job points should be easily obtainable as a small group of players , no one has the time as we used to have back in 2004 when we rdy to put 16 hrs to the game. allow us to switch to jobs faster to tackle the end game content plz!
2. quality of life teleportation
in ffxiv , u open map , and teleport whever u want. how hard is it to implment for example a friendly moogle that u can summon as a trust and when u talk to him he teleport you to survival books or home points or unity teles? i know no many devs left on the game , but that would be huge time savior than home point > bastok > unity tele ughhhhh XD heck allow me to summon diffrent moogle that allows me to change my job and access storage
game is fun in 2025 ^^ but man the QoL is important after all this years
3. Odysseytimer increase , 30 mins is too tight
Reason : seriously , entry for 30 mins only each 20 hrs and no time o increase it like omen? omen is great , give me options to increase my time in Odyssey , we r starting as a small group sheesh , the grid for segments is stressful with 30 mins only :X increase timer inside or give us timer like sortie!

i am just a returning player , u should know more about the current state of the game more than i do , if i am wrong about something , feel free to correct me than just dismiss it ^^
my points is : consider the content gap between a returning player in 2025 [new account] and a player who still playing 20 years later , u cant expect to put the same time and effort to catch up with endgame can u? especially if u wanna try everything from the ground up ^^ finishing the story , enjoying , unlocking it , not being overwhelmed by the amount of content, thats a half year by itself alone.
u can take take it as a troll if u want , but a teleportation wherever u want is a nice qol to have , catching up with exp is nice to have , and a timer increase for sheol for players who just touched sheol C exist is nice to have :D [yes i know u can clear it in a day if u get carried, but for new group thats unrealstic] and again a player with kaja sword is not the same as a guy with 10 relics and 5 aeonics , there has to be easier way to catch up for new players! you can't expect every new player just to learn scripting and multiboxing and have 3-4 accounts alone by themselves so they can catch up now can ya XD i don't wanna learn scripting and multiboxing to enjoy the game
And , if not , if these qols are impossible , no worries no issues , a kraken club will still do just fine ^^ XD

20 hr lockout are there as a timegate, it’s a mmo. SE needs us to stay subbed and not get everything in a week.
Same reason omen has the same system, sortie, dyna-d etc for similar reason.
Well yeah. ML41-50 is already insane
People didn't cheat (as much) on regular leveling because it was a reasonable goal to achieve in a reasonable time span. Whereas with ML it's way longer than that, EVEN with leveling in your sleep.
Add the double dark matter campaign back as a campaign, 12 tries.
Please stop giving us campaigns like Bonus Bayld Campaign, and Hyper Chocobo Digging Campaign instead of useful Equipment Upgrade Campaigns. Omen cards are nice but we just had a Omen Card campaign and you're bringing back the same campaign. Where's the variety there?
Hyper chocobo and chocobo skillup campaigns should be combined.
It should also only run when Vana'Bout is going on, because forcing people who haven't leveled digging to dig with the long zone wait & a 15 second between dig wait is terrible.

I would much rather have the 6 tries per day be persistent and cumulating even when unsubscribed, much like the 10 points daily tally for the gobbie mystery box.
I would also like to be able to spend say "3 dark matters on one attempt", meaning dark matter count goes down by 3 but chance of HQ results goes up.
If you guys want to encourage players to balance the server populations, you need to offer incentives to transfer:
1) If they aren't, transfers away from high-pop worlds should be free or discounted significantly, particularly so it's easier to move together with a friend or friends.
2) Similar to in FFXIV, If the player transfers to a low-pop world, they should be granted bonuses to Progression Points (experience/capacity/exemplar points) for a certain amount or certain period of time (30 days or a reasonable amount to aquire in a similar timeframe)
3) Consider granting bonuses to treasure hunter, crafting, and gil awarded for completion of contents (with limits in consideration of the possibility of RMT abuse).
4) consider granting the refer-a-friend rewards for these players who transfer off high pop worlds (specifically those closed to character creation).
My wishlist at the moment is...
1) Massive increase in gallimaufry from all mobs in Sortie
2) Excess Stones we collected in Sortie to be traded in for gallimaufry by trading them to the goblin npc in Leafelia
3) Job points exchange via the Moogle in Ru'Lude Gardens so we can use one job (eg. BLM) to obtain points then trade points to a different Lvl99 job, that is difficult to get points for (eg. SMN) (this won't disrupt the balance as it takes 2100 job pts to get to master & plenty of jobs)
4) Exemplar points campaign to be a regular feature & Shemi Trove to return regularly
5) Ambuscade +3 Armour for our fibers/metals we have been stacking. I'll understand if this will take some time to figure due to the balancing act to do.
6) Ambuscade weapons to be augmentable by trading any spare Abj nuggets, gems, matters, etc. we have to the usual ambuscade tarutaru npc.
7) AMAN trove overhaul of standard items we receive (we are fed up of all the omen cards now). Maybe Mog Kupons now can be obtained (eg. Kupon W-Pulse or Kupon AW-GeIII). Mars orbs can give lower valued Mog Kupons, where the Venus orb can give the higher ones (eg. Kupon W-E119)
8) A way of buying upgrade items for Empyrean weapons (eg. 3-leaf chloris buds for 1000 cruor from the cruor prospector or an npc near the entrance once you have defeated Chloris once)
9) Gorad in Western Aoudlin to be Seals / Crests storer NPC
Can we make Herald's/Crier's and anything else that's +12 movement and bring it into the era of +18?

Think I will log in as someone who does not do Sortie. Feel logins can be a huge deal if done right. Was not planning on playing again until the December Campaigns tbh.
I am just not as group oriented as I was during the early 2000's. Pretty chill & casual across all games tbh. Maybe it is age, idk....lol....Getting K.O was a big deal. It is just funny now. I digress......
......Like I said before, think login rewards can function like a cosmetic shop. The only fee is subscribing.
Feel like we are overdue for Boxing Gloves H2H style, Afro head style, and Trust Byakko in that login Moogle. Maybe a Roller Skate feet style. I eat up all the wild login reward stuff.....I dig it. That Moogle keeps my XI fire burning (Pause...).
it sucks that we'll basically only get 1800~1900 a month though, so even holding over from last month still won't get you two.
I get ya that it's nice to finally get something that is desired by all players in greater quantities as a reward.
my top requests:
1. Provide a greater variety of means by which significant amounts of exemplar points can be earned:
- bring back the 500k bonus and make it permanent, every month.
- double exemplar points earned in Sheol C and Sortie
- provide exemplar point rewards for intense Ambuscade and all higher-tier battlefields at D and VD
- add an exemplar point reward to each peculiar foe objective, plus an additional final exemplar point bonus from Elijah for completion of all 15 objectives.
- add an exemplar point reward to each of the 4 "monthly" RoE objectives.
- increase the amount of exemplar points earned from defeating Sheol Gaol notorious monsters by a factor 50, for characters that already have the win on the same vengeance level.
2. Provide a gallimaufry earned x2 buff if a character last entered Sortie between 40 and 60 hours ago; and x3 if a character last entered Sortie more than 60 hours ago. Most people are burned out on daily Sortie.
3. Let Aminon Hard Mode drop a guaranteed Old Case +2, and E, F, G, H bosses drop a guaranteed Old Case +1.
4. Make Content / Sortie objectives reset every month.
As much as I'd love this, I don't think they'll do anything like this anytime soon. However, I don't think it would be unreasonable to have it alongside the other EXP campaigns whenever they run, as it only makes sense.Quote:
