Actually, it's happened to me before. I got kicked out of the game, thought it was billing, re-logged in, went right into the select screen and that's where I got the "U SHALL NOT PROCEED" message. I thought it was funny that they were actually giving me access to POL functionality, actually I thought that they had changed their policy to allow you to log into POL even with billing issues.
You are absolutely right but my friend that is not the problem or the situation here , if that was the problem we wouldnt be able to log on POL with out the warning of unpaid fee's, the problem my friend is that we can not access the member ship section or content ID section to re-activate our Content ID's
I mean yeah if what ur sayin was the problem i would be happy cause atleast i could reactivate it but thats not the case.
When they did something in there billing to process a free payment they did something tweak something they shouldnt or messed something up causing this issue its clearly a problme on there end not our card or money problem.
Still putting it down to unpaid fees, which in turn people jumped up calling SE out when in fact it was actually the pot calling the kettle black. -- Just my 2c.
Well its pretty much safe to say there not gonna be fixin this problem tonight maybe not even tomorrow you would think they would be more reporting to us updating us on the situation instead of playing here a post there a post here a post post...
no this has nothing to do with unpaid Fee's.. is what im tryin to explain they screwed something up its like we are kicked out but same time were not they did something that cancel'd some's content id's and will not allow them to get in to reactivate, so it really nothin to do with a unpaid fee
schultz, its not billing, its purely SE's fault, they posted something on the pol site. its an issue , they're working on it.

It says I am now reactivated... new PoL mail... No Content ID error for FFXI.

/sigh same thing they are still working on it. I am really getting tired of the whole thing in general.

If you restart you computer than update your credit card info you can get in me and a few people from ffxiah.com tried that way and it worked :D only thing is you're gonna have to pay for april
confirmed... I went through and updated my payment info to the same cc and was able to go through everything. During the login process I did noticed that it says my content ID's were not linked to my handle and asked if I wanted to link them. Not sure if that might be a common thing that we are experienced that might have contributed to us having that problem.

Unfortunately, a number of customers may have had their PlayOnline IDs canceled as a result of this issue. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we would like to ask that customers affected in this way resubscribe to PlayOnline, register a method of payment and reactivate their Content IDs in order to regain access to the game. Logging into PlayOnline with a cancelled PlayOnline ID will bring up the PlayOnline ID reactivation screen.

Catnip. Are you trying it from the playonline home? It wasn't for me then i did the step by step, now its working.
I also am still getting UCS-5024.
CC payment was "updated" no problem but CC was the same. No Content ID for FFXI. "Reactivate ID" wants to charge me $16.95 USD.
It's still trying to charge me. I've been active for years so I doubt I don't qualify for the free month.
I can access my FFXI content ID after a payment through "Reactivate ID". If you get 5024 still that is no good =(
So the question now is ... are they going to bother trying to fix this today or are they just going to tell us information that we already know that doesn't help us at all?
It's annoying that can't get on, more annoying that they're just taunting us by telling us something we know.
A few of my friends have been able to get on, but they already had access to the POL main screen, while the rest that are locked out are not able to access the main menu of POL
Probaly going to be 12-24hours till a reply again anyways..
