Temporary Suspension of the Services Due to an Earthquake

yeah..hoping to get more people more aware of what they are really going through over there...hoping it will cut back on some orf the whining thats running rampant here. Started a thread in the general forums with the links I've been checking on periodically myself. If I find more I'll just add them there. Maybe the mods will sticky it.

I believe most of us FF players LOVE japan greatly for you culture Ida's and beliefs
in times of distress you only need to look to you friends and you have Manny here I'm positive even the insensitive people are not trying to be.... as they are just upset that there favorite place has suffered a devastation grater then ever expected and know not where to lash out

my 15.95 i normally pay will be donated to RED cross relief

I bought a content id a few days before the shutdown, i haven't been billed for it yet... not sure if their just not gonna bill me till after april or what.

I seriously doubt the game would grind to a halt had this calamity occured in the west coast of the the US (earthquake or volcano). No, they would have put out some cute sympathy article and everyone not in the affected areas would continue on without interruption.

of course it would not have come to stop, that would be another situation. what use has all this arguing, if the server would be in california and the energy crisis in japan they would not have stopped. but it is as it is, the crisis is in japan and the server is too. so we should be thankful they survived and think of the ones that died, got hurt or lost beloved ones. thank god they´ll be back cause this means: japan does still excest and will recover. this should be what we think about instead of nagging they should transfer to other servers. if they could transfer all that data there would be no need to do. i really pray all of you in japan don´t loose hope. we all think of you

Thank you Raist for all your info. Alot of ppl do no realize there are over 5584 dead and still 9400 missing. Tthey have started spraying water on the #3 reactor but all the other reactors are heating up and if the situation does not get better soon there will be further power shortages. Rolling blackouts are reaching as far as Tokyo. S.E. is doing the right thing they are puting ppl before players. Alot of the people of Japan are running low on food and it is terribly cold. please be patient as this is somthing no one saw happening. They need our prayers not complaints.

I would like to send my condolences to the people of Japan, all our hopes and prayers go out to you in your time in need.
Really wishing my <Teleport-Japan> was working so some of us could come over and lend a hand of some kind.
