Doubt this is something that can be fixed, this is just server lag. Mobs actually start moving about 2 seconds before it shows up on your screen so if you need to hit them while moving you have to run ahead of them and hope they stay in a straight line. Obviously pet's don't have this issue because they are part of the game.

QoL changes:

1. Please give us a storage slip for Unity gear, Skirmish/Alluvion Skirmish gear, Delve gear, Vagary gear, Incursion gear, and High Tier Battle gear. The Adoulin content can share a slip, unity gets its own and HTB get's its own. Please please please do this.

2. Make Voiddust send Voidstones to the NPC instead of to your KI inventory if we chose the NPC option. At the moment, if we use up all our voidstones, we have to wait for them to refill to use the NPC stock or use Voiddust (which currently only gives us on-hand stones with a limit) which voids (no pun intended) the purpose of the VW update a few months ago.

3. Make the Job master trial entry use JOB POINTS, not Merit points. What a ridiculous decision. Merits are used for so many different things, and Job points, right now, have one use so once you master a job, they are useless. Master Trials were an opportunity to make use of those points but for some strange reason, someone decided that we should get merits. HUH?!

I've never heard of STPT (unless you mean STNPC) but STAL still suffers from blinking so I'm still not getting your point for the rude filth you typed prior.

Been playing ffxi since 2009. I fell in love with Mnk/Nin/War/Loved playing them jobs alot in Ls events. I am in an endgame ls that only kills mobs in mage forms cant stand it at all..Please SE bring back mobs that can be fought in mnk.nin.war form..Also Job points are hard to get when you work have to take care of things in home i only have a certin time to play 4 days a week..make it easer to get job points plz

According to Matsui direct from Freshly Picked Vana'diel #17:

Q: Are there plans to merge servers due to the declining player base?
A: At least until the completion of “Rhapsodies of Vana’diel” in November 2015, there are no plans for merging unless something major comes up. After completion, we do have some plans in the event that players are giving feedback about not being able to form parties and more players voicing their requests for server merges. As far as how we’ll merge, we’ll be looking into how to handle this such as merging two Worlds into one World, or transferring players from one World to a World of their choosing.

Such a small percentage of players take the time to come here to the forums, unfortunately. I did my part to direct those unhappy with the pitifully low population numbers to make their voices heard, but they chose to stay silent, so I wound up making the move from Cerberus to Asura with a couple of close friends not too long ago and wish I had done it sooner.

Both commands let you select from the party/alliance list, so no, they aren't affected by blinking. At least I'm trying to help you be a better healer than telling everyone to gimp themselves for the sake of myself.

Oh wow, thank for sharing this with me ^^ I would move as well but I have been waiting for them to do the merge because I have a lot of friends still on Lakshmi :(

So, with regard to Wardrobes 3 & 4, I'll repost what I said in another thread, but offer a thought on a separate method to go about this, even though I'm sure there's no point to this late in the game.

I won't be paying an extra fee for storage when I'm already paying for as many mules as I do. At least with all my mules I have additional resources as well as extra storage. Quite frankly I find it a little insulting as a 12-year customer to have to pay a monthly fee for something as central to gameplay as gearing slots, and while I won't go so far as to quit because of this decision, I will say that Square Enix is quickly tarnishing their reputation with me. I've always said FFXI was my first and would be the only MMO I'll ever play, and decisions like this only reaffirm that thought. I won't be jumping to 14 or likely the brand new 11 if this is the situation I can expect for the future.

I'm sure there's all the business sense in the world to justify this decision for them, and it's completely understandable why a company would want to boost income if they can, but decisions like this really only leave a bad taste in my mouth and harm your reputation in my eyes.

Now, as for my suggestion on how to handle this, rather than making it a monthly fee, I'd be more willing to actually buy them and then keep them similar to the Mog Case of whatever storage menu it was we got with the Security Token. A one-time fee, even if something like 10 dollars seems much more acceptable to me, rather than a monthly charge.

But, like I said, I'm sure it's pointless to suggest something like this so late into the game, I guess I more just wanted to express my disappointment in the decision as a devoted 12-year customer.

I'm in the same boat. Making those wardrobes a one-time purchase, while still annoying, would be a lot more tolerable.

Could lottery NM and other NM required for trials and such have a reduced spawn timer?
Some of the things I am reading up lists up to 7 hours as a recorded respawn time. It would be nice to log on and progress in one of my goals a little faster than one kill a day - ha. Especially considering Magian Trials weapons are obsolete in the beginning stages and it makes no sense to take so long to get to the last few stages to catch up to other players.

Ambuscade uses a very unique system for how Key Items are processed and consumed, and there is a lot involved for transferring this method of holding Key Items to other battle content.
Due to the difficulties associated with this, we currently have no plans to make adjustments.

High Tier Battlefields in particular should only use the KI of the person that enters first, but still require all members to have the KI. They did this for Ambuscade so they should make it the same for all OPTIONAL content. KI's for missions and quests, have to be re-obtained as normal.

Now, when you say you have no plans for something, does the conversation with the devs go like this:

• Sicy: Hey, Player asked for X
• Dev: That's not something we have planned

or this:

• Sicy: Hey, Player asked for X
• Dev: I'll look into it
• *time passes*
• Dev: No, we can't do it

I know the end result is the same, but to me, "we have no plans" sound like option 1 and feels like being blown off.

Make it so when using Veridical Confluxes in Abyssea, it will show where on the map each conflux is as you select them in the menu (similar to waypoints in Adoulin).

Fireworks are displayed above the ocean, in your mog garden during events; similar to the fireworks that are displayed in cities during the sunbreeze festival. These fireworks also vary per different events (some look like pumpkins during halloween, a star during the starlight festival, etc).

Also if people dont want fireworks to be displayed in their mog garden, they can ask the moogle to turn them off.

I've also thought it'd be neat if during the starlight festival, a "snowing" animation occurred in jeuno to go along with the music.

These ideas are great. I love fireworks, and Summerfest is my favorite event of the year.

A minor tweak that I think would be neat.

Selecting a homepoint giving you the option to return to previous homepoint (for the fee, np).

The game only needs to keep a record of the last homepoint you initiated a teleport from and to (if the one you're standing at is last on the list, go the previous on the list), to know which one to send you to. It would make pingponging between areas much easier (as we do for things like Ambuscade and High Tier Battlefield)

Is there any way we can get it so collusion is removed? It is a very irritating feature in the game atm ^^;

I recall awhile back that devs said they were unsure how they could implement a player race change due to the way the game was made. I can see how it'd be an issue with having to adjust the stats with the race as well. So if race change would be difficult, what about just face/hairstyle change? Rules can be set where only 1 character on a playonline/squareenix account can be changed once a year (earth time) and a fee must be paid (maybe 5-10 USD?).

(Sorry if this has been answered somewhere already, I was just curious if it would be possible now with how things have changed). Thank you for reading. :)

I don't know why they don't simply accept the limitations of the race change option and just let you race change but keep the stats of the original race (if that's a serious problem), most people only really care about the cosmetic side anyway. I genuinely do not care if my taru still has lower HP and higher int and I'm now a hume, all I care about is the way my character looks.

Also I think the main stumbling block isn't the feature itself, it's figuring out how to make an automated system where you're able to pay for it and make it function. In most games, you buy an ingame item and when you use the item it logs you out and sends you back to the character creator to remake your character.

Sorry if this has been posted already but I went back until the start of ambuscade and couldn't find any reference to it. Please add an option to trade multiple upgrade materials to ambuscade capes. Fully upgrading a cape in 15 to 20 minutes seems absolutely ridiculous. We have needles now to make changes if mistakes are made, and if I'm going to make a mistake, it's going to be on the first augment, not subsequent ones.

I have considered this myself and agree with this. I would be ok with keeping my original hume stats to switch to elvaan.

I actually wouldve even been ok with submitting what race you want to change your character to on the square enix account website, paying for it, then your character race changes whenever the dev gets to it (so a 1-3 week wait would be worth it in my opinion). But if they would be able to make an in-game item that takes your character back to the character creation screen, that would be even better.

I know this is not relevant to most players these days, but I have been begging for this for years. I'm one of the last chocobo breeders on Odin, and am one of the few people who actually sell chococards. I have plenty of buyers, and have trouble transferring the cards from my three chocobo-breeding mules to my bazaar mule, as it requires me to frequently impose on one of my friends to transfer large amounts of cards between my characters. Would it really be too difficult to make Chococards able to be sent via delivery box between same-account characters? This would make a huge difference in my "quality of life" in-game and save me and my friends a lot of hassle. Please please please, devs, put some thought into this.

Never. If a JP player asks a similar question and they got a dev answer then we sometimes get it copy and pasted over here by a community rep who can translate it though.

They need to have caps for things like defense down and magic defense down, and then like how there are haste caps offer us a few ways to get there. For example cap defense down at say 50%, Idris geo + dia gets you there. But then give Foe's Requeim a defense down effect so that say with a max Req and Dia 2 you can cap. And if not a gjallarhorn brd you can do a NQ brd Req and Dia 3. Give a few varieties of ways to reach it.

They need to do a reworking of a number of support jobs and find ways to change up synergy and stackability. This also goes in line with my request for additional magic haste sources. That's extremely key to getting us away from BLU's. Self-capping Haste is a huge boon to BLU's, who I don't really think are the true kings of DPS potential right now but just get to a very high potential with less outside support as others.

Geo isn't replacing every other type of mage like blu is replacing every other type of melee.

Dark Matter Augmenting seems like it was not designed well. Almost every Dark matter used gives Pet augments and there are only 4 pet jobs in the game. This is just simple math gone wrong. Am I the only one that sees this as a problem?

^... even on gear that has 0 pet jobs, like chironic or Odyssean.

We should be able to target towards the type of augmentation we want.

Melee offensive, melee defensive, tank defensive (shield, phalanx, parry rate), magic healing, magic defense, pet etc.

TH having a chance in any.

The point of Dark Matter was to raise caps in all categories, however the risk was you selected from the entire pool of augments possible on every single piece of equipment.

Thus why your round of randoms, and many other people's, suck. Sometimes you get lucky and get those augments that matter.

Dark Matter isn't for picking a path, that's what the Reisenjima stones are for. It's for a chance at anything and everything. 8D

Clearly, and that's why noone does it when it's not free.

Calling it for what it is and how it should be. Not everything needs an immediate defense.

Shield stats on herc is silly. Pet stats on gear pet jobs can't wear.
