[dev1003] Abyssea Adjustments (Blue Mage INeffective?)

Thank you for getting rid of 1000 needles and blitz as procs for grellow! I had to play my boyfriends blu in abyssea a few times for nm's, and those spells sucked so bad! Ty ty ty ty ty ty ty! :D

The only concern I have is for BLUs who like to solo a lot. There's less of a chance of processing yellow now, 1/7 = about 14%, 2/8 = 25%. This is really an update that will help parties "generally," but for BLUs specifically this is really more of a nerf. The only real problem was 1000 needles because of the fact that it can miss entirely. Blitzstrahl stun effect is annoying, but it doesn't affect the spell itself. Why couldn't they just replace 1000 needles with some other light spell or just remove it?

pretty much, more reason for omg get blm or we can't do this.

guess the only reasonable option is lower recast on magic hammer and let it be that? i think light of penance would have problems. I guess they could make it an off the wall spell like seedspray ( phy spell)

I wouldn't say its a nerf, when i'm soloing a NM last thing on my mind is yellow. Living to get the drops thats a bit differnt and if I cared enough I would get at least a rdm to help me maybe a blm if I had something on them.

Wow people actually needed them to confirm that? It was rather obvious. MMO players sometimes worry me.

What sucks is that BLU is still on the list of yellow procs. They should be banished into oblivion!

Thanks for clarification, however where it says "New ways to obtain empyrean items" does that only refer to the +1 and +2 seals as outlined in the post or does it also refer to empyrean weapon items?

I am becoming increasing frustrated at everyone and their mother camping gukumatz for their sobek pops. I have seen 10~ seperate groups camping at the same time. It feels like i may never get my Zorro ws! ; ;
So other ways to obtain empy weapon items would be awesome, or make the timed pop nms for empy weapon nm popsets forced pop (ie gukumatz, heqet, tunga and amun). Those are the only ways i can see that will ease the conjestion reguarding those nm's.

sobek drops seal too, so i suppose we can pop soben in vision area and obtain all the drops.
the question is, we still need the same pop KI or we will get new pop KI in vision area (guku will pop in vision area too?)

Koios, the T2 VNM in A-Altepa, is immune to 1,000 Needles.
