Yell filter should not be turned on every time you log in.

I also think its stupid you have to enable /yells when you log on. Let you set it and keep it one or the other. If anything by default the filter should be off. If you dont want to see this kinda stuff you should "tune out" as it were. I dont want to miss a /yell for event because I forgot about the filter.

Besides, this is just a test to see how it works and whether players like it or not before expanding it. No biggie to turn it off/on each time for now anyway.

well I'm sure they will adjust it as necessary, but I think it's important that they get feedback as to how.

I'd rather is be defaulted on just because I was not one that liked this idea. Just because there are like 20-30 people that post on every single forum on this site doesn't mean that everyone wants these ideas in play. I kind of hate that SE is listening to the few not the many. The amount of people on this forum is very few compared to overall population. Its just too bad more people do not get on here to voice their opinions.

Incase you missed such threads as "how people complained that update details were no longer shown in the POL viewer." It seems the internet is too complex for most of the players to handle.

It's fine for it to be deafulted on. But it shouldn't be switched on every login if you turned it off, which is what currently happens. Those who want the filter off don't want to have to keep turning it off every time they play. It becomes a hassle and nobody who wants to use this ever will before long unless this is changed.

You don't seem to understand what I'm asking. I don't care what the default setting is. I just don't want to have to keep re-setting it to off every time I play if I want it off.
