There is no "ahalee cycle", my posts have been pretty rational and logical tbh. I don't assume everyone is out to get me and I was a victim of a scam as are many people in this world. There are legit and illegitimate reasons to kick others out of a party. I haven't made any drama.

A party leader can kick whoever they like for whatever reason. It's not that big of a deal. You are entitled to whatever feeling about being removed from a party but throwing a fit like you have since Christmas, going on a campaign to try to ruin multiple people's enjoyment in the game and, spread falsehood, is simply sad. I never said I decided what a legitimate reason to kick someone is. It's either legitimate or it's not. You may want to read the ToS that you agreed to, to be able to play this game, because it seems like you didn't bother the first time. The party leader cannot orchestrate an in-game scam and therefore cannot kick for the purposes of that. I haven't been throwing any fit. I think you're just looking to libel someone over the official forums with that at this point. I'm not on a campaign to ruin anyone's enjoyment, quite the contrary. I don't want anyone to have the same experience getting scammed by Euvedant/Lecroucond that I did. I haven't ruined my reputation by the way.

The only illegitimate reason to kick someone out of a part is as a form of harassment. The TOS covers no reasons for kicking someone from a party to be a rule violation. Even if someone wanted to make a case for scamming (which would require a transaction), that's it's own rule and doesn't directly have anything to do with kicking people. Scamming is a player dispute. GMs in some cases have mediated such disputes (i.e. telling users to give money / items back, or whatever), but generally this isn't punished by the TOS with bans or suspensions.

So in-game scams are against the ToS, if someone is kicking someone to effectuate that, then they are breaking the ToS. Pretty simple. The ToS does cover it. There was a transaction. Its called time investment for an implied return in this case and it CAN have something to do with kicking people if that is what is required to effectuate the scam.

There's so few of us left. Has age not improved ourselves on how we treat one another? Do we really need to act like we're all still in our teens and 20s? I mean, we're all who we are but it's been over 20 years. Age can and does change people. Maybe the youngest buck around here is up to their teens for XI experience. Am I the only one who ran out of the energy for MMO arguments like ten or fifteen years ago?

I let go of my vitriol for player strangers a long time ago when I realized I was taking things out on innocent players who never brought any harm against me. I was harsh to people for the sins of the many youthful players back in the early days. I became very angry that people would give me crap over my name. They never wanted to hear how I came up with it. They just went straight to mocking for somehow misspelling it. Some even went well past that to downright harassment by their own free will that I didn't encourage in the least by anything I said, that to this day I have their names on my blacklist. None of them are playing anymore, and I don't even know how to clear it. XI was my first MMORPG. Like a child being raised by their parents, I learned how to be nasty to people from my experiences in game. I thought it was the thing to do, the way to be.

My rep will probably never recover as far as any forums go. My more youthful stances and nature early on on these forums have ensured that. I've been tempted more than once of server jumping, creating a new char with the same name here, so I could transfer back and change my name. But I don't do it because I am owning up to the rep I stuck myself with. And I push on here, farming my mythics while my bro squad is on their yearly break, alone. As I deserve. But at least my bros know the real me. If not for my friends who were forgiving enough to play around me, I'd probably been gone from here 18 years ago.

What I hope for, besides SE finding a heart to spend the money and make XI great again just for us so it can be updated like a normal MMO that doesn't have a trillion people playing it, is everyone today can look back at their youthful selves playing MMOs and say(if they deserve it) 'wow what an asshole. Let's be better now.' XI had a way of creating monsters. Well that's long gone now and the game is all the better for it. Why can't we move on and be better, too? Be less confronting. Be less dismissive. Think how you can put something into words that come from your point of view rather than stating it like it's a cold hard fact. That one is alittle hard to let go. We all think our opinion is a matter of fact I don't care if you're 15 or 55.

If you're reading this you're probably in your late 30s to early 40s, hell maybe some 50s even. I know at least one couple who are probably in their very late 40s or early 50s. I know it seems important to defend yourself, or to put someone in their place. I say this with all the pieces of my heart: Let it go. You are half way through your life, give or take 10 years. Let it go, and leave the gamer vitriol for the young.

Given that I wasn't even participating in these forums until my name got dragged into a topic out of nowhere, I feel like this is a false equivalency. The fact of the matter is that Rinuko and Alhanelem are continue to act as the aggressors here in this situation to the detriment of this topic and board and just won't let things go.

Yeah, 40 here. Started playing in college. And you're right about most of this. It's not always easy but we really all should be getting more chill in our old age lol. I see also that like me you popped on here at the very beginning. :)

And one last genuine piece of advice: Stop caring so much what other people think. if several pages worth of posts are made and people are still arguing, it should be obvious at that point that no one involved is going to budge on their feelings. If you can't convince someone after a few posts, then oh well. let them remain in ignorance. Which is something I need to remind myself of as well.

You then have followed me around in-game, spamming me with lies and harassing me both in-game and by making 20-30+ Reddit accounts.

I don't see myself as old, however at the same time, I was chill before this mess happened and I still feel like when I wasn't chill that I wasn't out of line for being not chill given the circumstances.

You clearly have been acting as the aggressor party and anyone can see that based on your post history that hasn't been edited to try to cover things up. I never followed you around in game at all or anyone else for that matter. I never even sent you any /tells. You aren't even on the same server anymore as far as I know. I'm not on Odin. I never once mentioned you in /yell.

I never said I was perfect, if I was perfect I wouldn't have let Euvedant get under my skin when he /yells for groups with zero remorse for things he has done. I wouldn't have wasted hours of my time in /yell with that mess that day earlier this month. There's other things obviously too. I'm not claiming anything you're acting like I'm claiming in that regard. At the same time the heat has been unprovoked.

Hello Ahalee. I was talking to Spicy because he was indirectly referring to a conversation I was having elsewhere. If I was mocking anyone, it was myself, as because that way we can all have a laugh without anyone feeling bad.

They never stop and consider the fact that them having this problem with basically everybody might indicate that maybe, just maybe, they aren't taking the most optimal approach to interpersonal interaction, and rather than taking offense to people trying to explain this to them, acknowledge that they aren't perfect and have some things they can work on- like not treating every even slightly critical comment as a personal attack.

The last post in this thread was over a month ago, you could have just let it die. No one else needs to no the IRL deets, if you have to take action IRL, you do so, it doesn't need to bleed back into here. Everyone else had moved on and accepted that this person isn't playing with a full deck already lol

I didn't realize you were a moderator. Anyway, Ahalee doxxed me last night and I chose to post in this thread for my own reasons. I'd be less concerned about my decision to post here and more concerned about a person on this forum commiting a crime. You might be their next target.

I never claimed to be. However, I am the OP of this thread, and I certainly didn't create it for this purpose. This forum is not the place to discuss IRL legal issues and if you're actually being doxxed, you shouldn't be posting about it for the world to see, you should be talking with a lawyer and keeping it in confidence.

I will not be dragged into an actual legal feud and I have reported this so that it will hopefully be closed and that will be the end of it. If I was an actual moderator and could do it myself, I would have done it already, because this is the kind of thing S-E wouldn't want to touch with a 10 foot pole, and I will not either beyond this point.

Looks like the last post before yours had been over a month prior... you could have let this just quietly bury itself, and now everyone has to see the "oh look, new posts in General" notification flag, and check in just to be disappointed with this.
