I have the exact same problem. Both my wife and daughters character's are on the same card and processed fine, but my main gets bumped. We have made no changes to characters/accounts last month, and there is over $2000 on the card I use. I love that these things always happen on the weekend... can't contact anyone and likely no one that can fix the issue is looking at these forums. The downtime from last month was almost enough to make me quit... this might just be the final nail in the coffin. I love the game, but piss poor customer service and billing issues are things that should NEVER be an issue for a game like this.

My husband is having the same problem, but I can log on with no trouble. He tries to log in to see what's wrong with the CC information (never had a problem before) but it blocks him every time.

At frist when it happen i thought i got banned but then realized i could log on POL
I used my Xbox 360 to resubmit the payment information which is the same credit I've used every other time I've paid for fee in FFXI. Don't know if I just got lucky or Xbox 360 was just the key to getting my account active again and playable.
I've still yet to fix my husband account though and I've tried that on 360 and PC, still with the same error trying to get his content id back.
well i jus read on POL, that the maintance on the billin stuff last night was a phase one and phase 2 and at the en dof it, said during phase 1/phase 2 time period they will be unavailable does that mean cant access during the time in between what/
It has happened to two of my freinds last night and me as well. SE messed something up last night during the maintence. It is not the fact the error has happened on purpose. They must have do something. I got kicked off my main. Got on my mules and then got kicked off again. I'm at my freinds house and he was able to keep playing. He called a GM and they just sent him a message. I'm pretty sure SE won't take care of it until Monday. Let just hope they give us something for this or at least gove us some payment for it.

I'm getting this too. My card didn't expire, and I've been using the card/renewed card since NA release. I guess the free month messed some stuff up. I guess we need to watch to make sure that they don't charge for April because of this.
This is bullcrap at this point... They can have a 2 hour emergency maint. to update beseiged records but this goes on untouched.
I am having the same issue. I know that there is things that happen but seriously there needs to be a tech center open on the weekend. I work 50 hours a week and am a full time student. I enjoy looking for to my weekends and relaxing on ffxi. This is a load of crap!
I too have had my account closed due to unpaid fees yet I just put 600 dollars on my visa. Good to know SE can handle the loss of a free month by banning everyone.
So...I too went to log in today only to find that I also had my ID's deactivated. I too have account pay off of the same card as my husband. He is playing currently and I can't. Now to make matters worse. My playonline password that I can use to log into my membership info on the actualy POL site will not let me log in on the POL screen in the game! Anybody else having this issue?

Has anyone tried to go to the playonline site and check their membership activities through that. I just checked mine and it seems like SE canceled and reactivated my content ID's today (4/2/2011). A friend of mine with the same issue that has been described here checked his membership activities on the site and they had not reactivated his IDs. I don't know if this information will help but it seems to be the root of the problem.
Just figured I would add my input. My character was logged on early this morning when I got home from work, played for a little while and went to sleep. When I got up around 9 EST I had been logged out (Lost connection to FFXI Server.) I went ahead and clicked reconnect, and it did, to POL. So I went to the top page to log back in and it stated that I had no active content IDs. So I went in to reactivate them, and got this error. I am able to shut POL down completely and log back in just fine, except that it is reading that I have no Content IDs. I have tried several times, and still getting the error. I have not been presented with any payment screens or asked to input any payment information. I have a card on file, but to my understanding, though the funds are definitely available, it was not supposed to be charged this month.

So far on my research on to what is going on my content ID like others was canceled for March 31,2011 during maintence. Those not having a problem have a reactivated status for April 1st 2011, this is located in the membership information tab on Playonline main page top right corner. (Must log in to see) My Content ID was not reactivated, and has not been touched since Jan. 15 2011. I believe the canceling/reactivating was a quick fix from having to make the system not charge us for April and it caused problems... Normally when you have an billing issue you have to wait hours after everything has been billed and closed and resubmitted before this normally would clear up so best thing is to find something to else to do.... sadly like I myself am about to do...
Just about every other service company in the world... has support for the weekend this shit is bull. no reason someone cant fix this. pay a few tech to work at home or something...

I work for a software development company that has 50~ employees and even we have 24/7 support on the weekends. Ridiculous.
