Dark Knight Fixes, Ever going to happen?

Agreed with Dart. I personally get a lot of use from scarlet dilerium, and frankly, even if i didnt get much use for it in my regular daily drk use, id rather have a bad JA with very situational use than no ja at all, because lets face it, everyone knows if we got NOTHING that level cap update, everyone would whine about that. "WAAAAAH why does <job> get a new trait and we get nothing?!".

With that said id still like to see some fixes yes, but im certainly not going to look at someone offering me a raw steak instead of cooked, slap it from their hands and start a scene, i am going to either take it home and make it into something i CAN use, or im going to politely decline. Im a grumpy melee rdm, but i can say personally, i am glad to have that JA.

If by "horns" you mean the Gjallarhorn thread I started, I'll let you know (or remind you, w/e), that the dev team really didn't say jack shit about actually giving Gjallarhorn a buff it deserves in Camate's post, just that it would be further enhanced through ToM trials. Too bad we all already expected that Gjallarhorn (along with every other Relic/Mythic/Empy) would be enhanced through ToM eventually again. X.x

Did you start reading the thread on page 3 or something? I don't see how anyone could read the beginning of the thread and think "this is supposed to be about 2 hours specifically".

Touche. It only became about BW on page 2, although it was mentioned in the first reply. There was at least one other thread in which people were bitching about it, which is why I asked what was so bad about it. Right now Urteil is still bitching about absolutely everything and Cljader1 is just trying to hold on to the last bits and pieces of his dignity. I'm still waiting for an honest response. Sorry if I helped derail this thread, although honestly, I don't see how it could have ended up any other way, with or without the BW discussion.

How are people still really arguing that someone is a war or whm and doesn't know about drk? Its been 8 years for many of us and the main job thing kinda disintegrated. What's posted on your profile doesn't cover all your jobs.

I feel pretty safe in saying that outside taint and a few others. Few have the amount of experience tanking stuff on drk that I do. So i have a feel for the job that not too many others do. I was in urteil's shoes for a very long time, now i'm just apathetic. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, it doesn't. I'll make due anyway.

making due with what we have is really all that we can do. I know that you and I argue a lot (it is kinda fun isn't it? D:) but I'm actually in your court on most things.

To post something vaguely on topic, I wonder how deeply "You can't hit a thing with a thing while casting a thing on a thing. In fact, you can do no things while casting a thing on a thing." is imbedded in the code of Final Fantasy XI.

I assume it's either buried deep in Cincinnati Chili layer of the spaghetti code or seen as a pinnacle of game balance, because messing with it would be interesting for a handful of jobs including Dark Knight.

I totally pulled the second bit out of nowhere just because I wanted to complain about "make due". I admit it.
