Are you even playing the rest of the game. If you choose to fishing over say exping you not making much more gil. Thats were fish bots come in since you don't need to be at the char and can be off doing something else like sleeping or playing another char.

There at least 200k players that are npcing cruor and dom weapons not to mention weapons they can grab out of gold boxes, other npc items out of the same boxes npcable items off the mobs them selfs. Pop items for NMs sell for a good bit and stuff like dragon meat comes out of gold boxes. Just look at how many have a 100 fishing or that rod then look at the rest of the player base that can pull just as much gil out as the fisherman while going about thier everyday things.l

lol back then the fishing system was a longer wait for lower LVs so your theory is still way off. Higher LV fishers were able to get many more casts per hr then LV 0. As well as better bite rates.

1) yea a month at worst and the character could have the rod already. such a long wait
2) that is only 3 weeks in the same month of geting GP items. so still not over a month time if they are bot fishing.
3) lol odds are the mule character they will use for this isnt brand new. not everyone is a noob just because they are low LV. So another dead end go no where arguement. Still not longer then a month time bot fishing.
4) the last rod I gave away took less then a week per item. And that person gave away a few as well in a very short time. Another bad arguement. The only people that i have talked to that have a hard time geting ebisu are the ones that trade in 5-10 at a time.. You spam 80-160+ at once.. I can catch an easy 80 fish per day... so 3-5 days of fishing may be 7..

You underestimate how far people will go to cheat.

So your sayn that in one month a person can get it done and cant see how it could be a problem 6-12+ mos later.

The main thing you fail to understand here is this is an exploit.. And it will be abused.. no matter how much you deny it. Even if it took 2 mos.. to anyone that would seem like a fair trade to be able to get an easy 1m ish per day by doing no work..

lol raven. Yes I play this game too much. /playlog 1967 days on my main character(ps3). Maats cap KC about to finish my 2nd emp weapon. 7 WoE +2weapons. about 5k currency from soloing a relic. Bla bla bla n so on. I cant even exp anymore =( caped out and cap merits is lame...

My mage character(ps2) is the one I fish on. /playlog @ 1253 days and that is the character I use mules to bazaar my fish so it shows in time played sadly =( Has a 6 jobs all 90 cap merits sick gear bla bla bla.

So while killn time, workn of trial weapons.. the huge ammount of waiting that is FFXI.. I get to fish during all of that down time. It is great I reccomend it to anyone.

The reality of my situation is.. I have over 120m gil. Inflation wont effect me much. This post was just meant to be a heads up but some how it became a haters parade.

I still dont get how someone has a problem with something when they deny it is a problem...

If it would be a problem it would had happen before 200k brews. for 6 months thier was no other use for crour then npcing armor. Though even now with brews thier is more ways to pull gil out of thin air then fishing. Like the other 200K players that can pul 250k+ from just exping. By the way nothing stops people from exping just cause they are capped out on exp and merits it then becomes a dom note/crour farm. Its been over a year of not just free gil massive amounts of free gil. This is also on top of the game bleeding off players left and right.

Peak inflation also happed when the game was at the peak of the plyer base. 500k players all adding a little gil to the system while rmt fish bots, non-fish bots players and so on dumping gil into the system. This was also a time when AH gear was most of the best gear out there, fastward to today when 90% of the best gear is RA/EX. Even the gear from VWNM that is AHable is droping in price like mad. Then there is the simple fact endgame is more accessable to everyone.

Well the price of shihei is up about 2x price. most decient foods as well. Currency is up 2x-3x price depending.

VWNM/new BCNM items are like all new content items.. price starts out high then drops.. That is very usual.

I'm not sure how using a brew creats gil. If someone is payn you to use it.. that is player to player.. No new gill is introduced.

And yes only a year.. that the 1st few mos of not many were NPC items for gil. They AH the pink n pearl gear for crazy gil.. but now alot of people NPC it. So starts small and ends big with everyone doing it. Hmm where have I seen that before.

But I'm sure things will only get better with more NPC goten gil...

And I have a lil over 9m crour. And this is not counting the 2m i spent on a brew right after heroes to get shin access.. Dont need dom notes either but thx for askn =)

yeah i lvled from 50-55 there so far. i mean basically i make gil from just selling everything i come across from lvling lowbies to abyssea or hnms. i just put it up on ah for 1 gil.

yea I post alot of things @ 1gil too just to get rid of it. Suprising though.. most people dont try to buy for 1gil 1st bid... Ya would be suprised how often it works.
