DB is one of the better t2 merit's in the game. Sure the rest of them suck for us but this is true for pretty much every job. They have 1 maybe 2 T2 merits that are worthwhile and the rest are for the most part, useless. So here's hoping that SE fixes it for not just drk but all jobs to have a second useful T2.

Imo muted souls idea is fine and doesn't need a complete redesign.
(that is a trait that makes souleater less risky) so the -50 enmity should stay there for 5 merits
Like i said imo it needs a tweak it make it more useful more of the time were that be -%DMG taken or when you take DMG you have a chance to lose all hate 10% per merit or just another 20 or 30 enmity minus. ( all while souleater is up )
As for Deye -15% mp for +%DMG is not a sacrifice in anyway lol -

But what utility/use do I get out of those two JA? I use DE on maybe 1 or 2 mobs total in the game (when you consider how infrequently i fight those two mobs and the use of this JA goes down even further), Muted soul? Maybe not everything, but it sure seems like any mob with a damn builds resistance to SE quickly, so muted soul's overall usefulness has been negated (lets not get into if it was even useful to begin with).

SAM DRK and DRG can easily compete with that. MNK often beats WAR in VW. SAM is better than WAR on T4 cities (where Fudo is actually still good). DRK is just fine on T3 Zilart/Jeuno, specially with it's more self sustained haste (BRD dies quite often). DRG does quite well everywhere alternating between Camlann's Torment on tougher mobs and Drakesbane on weaker mobs, and never has to worry much about hate.
