Suggestion: Omen

Shiny things should randomly spawn after defeating enemies randomly. A random piece of equipment from any omen boss should be the shiny item on the ground brought into the treasure pool while interacting with the ??? spot.

Here is another idea. When you login your moogle gives you a random PRIMA weapon!

oh i like this one. could i get the item to upgrade a bonanza weapon too? I wanna upgrade my shield (i know there is no upgrade).
