Sortie every hour & Party Finder

Sortie needs to be reduced to 1 hour until re-entry and it should have an open world party finder along with an alliance as well as most other things should too and be reduced to 1 hour until re-entry.

This isn't FFXIV, Sortie is not meant to be a spammable activity, but a daily one. Which isn't to say I wouldn't love to be able to do both it and other things whenever I want, just that... there's no way they'll ever do that. lol

A feature already exists for searching for players who want to do particular activities and requesting to join their parties. Really the issue is more people just don't use it, probably in part due to how we've been pushed to do solo anything that can be done solo...


It used to be widely used back in the day, but these days, for some reason it doesnt get used much.

Cross server party making. Most players mutlibox 5~6 characters some of us don't have money and time or the ability to obtain Prime weapons or probably will ever for that matter. I doubt anyone will waste a day of their time to help a few people so we have to rely on people who are mainly scarce.

Also, we are too well under equip meaning we already don't have a good end game main hand weapon or could ever make one do to their ridiculous price.

Again, this is FFXIV stuff.

FFXI was designed in a different era, and it would require a total remake of all the back end stuff to make these kinds of features work. Things like the prime weapons are not designed to be obtained by everybody, they're there to give the hardcore players something to grind for and keep them busy. You don't need these, and if you think you do, the earlier REMA (relic, empyrean, mythic, aeonic) weapons are all easier to obtain today and still extremely strong.

Again, I'm not saying they shouldn't do that, but they basically have a small handful of people full time on the project, occasionally borrowing a few Creative Business Unit III staff when they need specific expertise. A total renewal of this game isn't really in the cards because there just isn't much chance of a big return on the investment.
