Best mythic ws's?

Hey, I just finished floor 100 on my first, main job (PUP). I got the awesome mythic ws, Stringing Pummel.

Figured that I might as well go and unlock the mythic ws's for other jobs, at least for jobs I have, and/or the good ws's.

What are the good, competitive mythic ws's? I've got sch and war; but in the future might start leveling other jobs, possibly based on which have the best mythic ws's (nyzul was a pain as it was the first piece of content where I was the organising person to get people together for runs).

Dragoon's at least was competitive. Don't remember how it matches with stardiver now.

Ironically that was the 1 I knew apart from pup and sch's ws's that were supposed to be good.

In Aby Drake>Star outside Aby Drake<Star so far as I know, however I hear Drake is still better on low levels outside as well. As for other WSs, I don't know much outside of DRG & PUP being awesome.

A lot of them aren't quite as good as they used to be now compared to the new merit WS's, and just about every Empyrean WS if you have any or plan to in the future. If you do a lot of Abyssea still, that's a whole different ballgame since critical WS's are king in there. WAR's mythic WS for example is beat by Raging Rush inside of Abyssea, and Upheaval outside, so their mythic WS isn't particularly worth using. MNK's mythic WS is actually quite good in Abyssea since it crits and should beat everything else except Empyrean. BST RNG and COR have some decent elemental WS's for building amber lights (gold box farming) if you use proper gear and/or atmas. Melee WHM's (yeah I know lolmeleewhm, it's fun sometimes) have a very handy mythic WS, it returns a good chunk of MP so they should never really have to rest and can keep on clubbing things. RDM's is okay if you ever find yourself wielding a sword outside Abyssea (campaign) because they get shafted on all the good sword WS's natively. Some others like DNC and SAM can only really be useful for opening level 3 skillchains. Ultimately, some are situational, others are useless, and very few really shine nowadays. MNK DRG and PUP probably have the "best" WS's, inside of Abyssea with crit atmas. COR's can also be pretty fun for XP parties with the right atmas if you have a Joyeuse for gaining TP, and you can use cheap bronze bullets without hurting your damage since it's elemental. I can't say I've ever had a reason to melee on SCH so I don't have that one unlocked and can't offer any insight.

Well, I Can tell you off the top of my head how much most of them will get any realistic use...

WHM - Restore MP, Obvious Situational Uses
BLM - ... Uh.
RDM - Used to be pretty good, Requisc/Chant Replace it in most situations.
THF - Garbage, Should never be used.
WAR - See THF
MNK - Good in Abyssea so long as you don't have Victory Smite.
PLD - Used to be awesome, Not so much now, Everything Resists it
DRK - Pretty Lame
BST - Pretty lame
BRD - Might be decent with 99 Carw.
SAM - Good for Darkness Skillchain?
RNG - Nope
NIN - Nope
DRG - Pretty decent, Stardiver > Outside as stated above.
SMN - I use it for Skillchains... Sekka > Garland > Shatter = Gravitation. Yup... Lowers DEF, But only 12.5%, Less than Shell Crusher, the WS we get... IDK, 40 levels earlier.
BLU - Nope.
COR - Nope
PUP - Epic.
DNC - Nope.
SCH - Nope.

SCH's lets you extend your self-SC's a good bit longer; but that's a very infrequent use.

ascetics fury is infoerior to shijin spiral in abyssea too, if you have a good build.

I agree for the most part, except;
WAR - used to have a use as the go-to Mighty Strikes WS. The Upheaval came around.
SAM, BLU, and DNC (and BRD, as I've seen from the amazing melee brd and salleted hero of siren) are all pretty much relegated to setting up self SCs.
BLM - while not necessarily strong, having it available greatly increases your ability to perform shenanigans. VIIIIDDDOOOOOO
COR - Basically a far less potent, darkness based Wildfire, that, if nothing else, is complementary to QD spammage on physical resistant opponents if wildfire is unavailable.

that said, I feel many of them are worth getting purely because they look fucking cool.

On dnc I always use Pyrrhic Kleos it lowers the mobs eva. if you go Pyrrhic Kleos > Evisceration you get a darkness SC too. it works both ways but i always open with Pyrrhic Kleos since i have more Dex than str and the -eva for the mob makes Evisceration less likely to have a hit miss. so dnc rocks, even more so if you have the +2 hands for SC damage.

talking about an easy 2~3k extra damage from the SC. and honestly everytime you WS on dnc you should have 5 steps and reverse flourish ready. so there is no excuse not to do this.
