    I would suggest you remove what ever you added then, as this is not acceptable,

    I have nothing running that does anything with memory. I dont have Mac Type, I dont have mods or reshade, yet I am still getting this error, and the only way I can get the game to launch is through GeForce Experience, its really annoying to have to do this.

    Tested all the methods in this thread here. No dice, still busted. Has been busted since last savage tier released. Have to run on a separate user account to play the game. Would like to fix it if possible. Thanks!

    This is not a one-off issue. It's not because some people are running music in the background. It's not bitcoin miners hogging memory. It's not people running full screen when they should be running windowed. Many of the commenters here have powerful gaming systems, but all came forward this week with the same errors. I have personally tried all the fixes listed here, to no avail. Something is definitely wrong with the client.

    And in each of these threads, there are even more people complaining about the problem because they probably don't want to start a new thread. (see my own response here, for example: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...=1#post5334242)

    There has been no official response from SE, except to say they're afraid of the virus and not developing the game right now. The forum moderator just keeps telling everyone the same thing, which is clearly not working. What more can he do? He's just passing on what SE told him to write. He does not work on the client, but someone really needs to.

    The only new advice we have heard so far was to - I guess - create a new user account and run FFXIV on a "simple" Windows user account dedicated just to FFXIV. Has anyone tried this? I'll be trying that next. In this thread, Rhaervis tells us to run FFXIV "in a simple environment" because they use anti-cheating applications so "the game will be unable to run when there are applications or processes, etc. that interfere with memory." Anyone else notice something off about their tone in that post? I can't put my finger on it. Anyway...

    Hopefully someone can help with this while we still have time to play the game.

    in my thread, it seem the only way to get this fix and i dont believe we should have to do this since its their patch update that making the crash, is to reinstall your OS... yes thats right reinstall your OS not just the game but the whole OS. if you dont have a custom rig or the windows USB and Key. doing so you might mess up your rig... you can always do a restore to default but at what cost... losing song, video, picture, MEME.... i mean you can do a restore and keep files but that might keep the file the FFXIV is in still crash...

    Wait what? So an anti cheat thing that was put in that's causing this and there are legit programs of Windows that are triggering it? That is what caused me to lose so many crafting mats and unable to play since patch? Well damn, guess I can't play this game until this is fixed.

    Checking back on this, would like a legit answer here, "our file sniffing software sucks sorry" is not an answer I will accept. I would like to launch the game normally at some point.
