On the forum, under settings > edit character, where you pick your character's 3 main jobs to show, ninja has not been added as an option. Would be nice to see that added, thank you!

We're aware that rogue is missing from the forum class choice list and are working to have it implemented!

Hehe. Did you also changed to pugilist because you couldn't find ninja in forum and thought that was the most similar to pick? ^^

Just start with pugilist, you eventually want a ninja I assume?
Um...no? My nin's not even on this character; just something about the website I noticed was missing and figured should be mentioned.Hehe. Did you also changed to pugilist because you couldn't find ninja in forum and thought that was the most similar to pick? ^^

This bug also locks me out from starting a post since Ninja50 is my only 50.
Same issues as the others, my current and only 50 is a rogue/ninja. Its annoying and I hope its fixed soon as it seems to be a problem that's still on going.
Any updates? Been a few months now and the option still isn't available.
Also still curious. This shouldn't be something that hard or time-consuming to implement; should've been done before NIN even came out. When this does get done, it should be done for the 3.0 jobs as well.
Since it wouldn't logically require altering the data structure of the forum profiles themselves... If I had to guess, I'd say they're stuck somewhere in the code that reads character profiles from the Lodestone database. It doesn't sound like reading one more class/level should be that complicated, unless someone did something very, very, clever when they revamped the code for 2.0 and sorting it out has become a much bigger problem than anyone expected.
Not a developer (for SE, anyway), just a very well-traveled bystander.
