Simple Macro for Master 2* mats required for new tools.

This is intended as a simple 2 buttons and it's done macro, i.e. fast but not the best quality.

It could be improved and made more complex, but that's not the point of it.

You'll need 378 cp (use cp food), 352 Craft (could be 1 or 2 points less) and 318++ control, though is advise as high as possible.

    Part 1:

    /ac "Comfort Zone" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Inner quiet" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Steady hand II" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <me><wait.3>
    /ac "Steady hand II" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Hasty Touch" <me> <wait.3>
    /ac "Master's Mend II" <me>

    Part 2:

    /ac "Basic Touch" <me><wait.3>
    /ac "Basic Touch" <me><wait.3>
    /ac "Steady Hand"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Great Strides"<me><wait.2>
    /ac "Innovation" <me><wait.2>
    /ac "Ingenuity II" <me><wait.2>
    /ac "Byregot's Blessing"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me><wait.3>
    /ac "Careful Synthesis II"<me>

I advise starting with as many hq mats as possible and at 1000+ quality.

It's not 100%, but if you want to get those tools fast with little effort and don't mind wasting some mats, this should be useful.

If you have much lag you may need to change the timings.

Whipped it up a bit quick to help a friend gets his tools, thought may as well share it on here.

Here's what I use, takes 338 CP and enough Craftsmanship to do 3 star recipes

If you don't have enough craftsmanship to finish with 2 CSII's, then remove the last Basic Touch, replace it with an Innovation after or before the Great Strides, and toss a 3rd CSII at the end.

    Hiya,

That macro would fail the Master 2 Star Crafts, e.g. Silver Brocade etc.

I misread the OP, that macro is for the old 2 star, not the master 2 stars. I used something similar, 391 CP:

Then manual Innovation, Ingenuity II, Byregot's Blessing to avoid a Poor, maybe get a Good/Excellent.

Finish with a macro of 4x Careful Synthesis II

If you're going to use HQ materials, you may as well use my rotation:

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...lutely-NO-RNG!

As this will give you 100% quality every time, but it does require HQ mats and a few more melds.

Sadly, anything using Hasty Touch will never be guaranteed to succeed, which means there will never be a way to master 2-star material synthesis. As a rule I *NEVER* use macros for crafting 2-star or higher recipes. Being able to change your flow based on the materials condition is crucial to longevity and getting the best quality out of it.

A crafter who doesn't take advantage of the 'excellent' or 'good' conditions to either recover their CP or get increased gains on touches is missing out on one of our best tools.

Well... I already finished getting hat (10 HQ) and my 1st main tool (50 HQ, for CUL) using OP's macro. I recorded at least 3 out of 60 that has the quality not at 100%, but close to it.

And I do max melded my gears with exception of off-tool which I only give 1 t4 craftmanship. Plus I use bouillabaise HQ when I do those.

But I will check the other method, like what Selene posted. Still has 7 DoH to go.

To be fair this macro was posted a week before yours ;P

Using some HQ mats is much cheaper than using all HQ mats, on my server at least.

The extra melds will be a lot more expensive, especially if you want to master all 8 crafts.

Your macro does look good if you can afford to use all those HQ mats and have the extra melds for each class you want to master.
