Tribe Community Event V - NPC Hunt - Leviathan - 2013-10-12

The Tribe Gaming Community in this case Tribe's Free Company Chapter is excited to be hosting another ARR Tribe Community Event. We have a strong tradition of hosting server wide Tribe sponsored events as a way to engage the community, and look forward to sharing this next event with you.


For this event (as the title implies) we are having you guys search for designated NPCs. If you are one of those people who notice very green nameplate and remember all those unpronounceable names, then this is the event for you. Unlike our last few events this one does not have a buy-in and is just pure gil potential.

Here is how it works:

• The event will be from 8pm - 9pm server time (12:00PM - 1:00PM PST, 2:00PM - 3:00PM CST, 3:00PM - 4:00PM EST)
• All participants will meet just outside Limsa Lominsa in Lower La Noscea at the start of the event
• At the start of the event the names of the NPCs being hunted will be added to this post, and told in game
• Each NPC will be accompanied with a general area where it can be found
• When a hunter finds a NPC on the list they simply record the map coordinates of that NPC and start looking for the next
• When a hunter has found all the NPC or the time limit is up they return to the start location
• The first person to return with the correct coordinates for each NPC, or the person with the most correct coordinates at the conclusion of the event wins.
• The second person to return or the second highest gets second place.
• If the winner is decided at the end of the event by highest number of coordinates and there is a tie, the prize is split.

The prizes are as follows:

• 1st place will receive 30k gil
• 2nd place will receive 15k gil

So let's hunt some o dem der pesky NPCs and reduce the surplus population.....

For this event we want to get some people together to have some fun finishing some FATEs you might not have completed before. Primarily the FATEs relating to each beastman tribe. This will not be a farming event, but more an exploration of those fates in areas not used for FATE farming.

Here are the FATEs we will be focusing on:

• Sharknado
• Return to Cinder
• Spark off the Bench
• Full Metal Alchemist
• Spandy Balidet
• The Miner in the Mirror
• The Four Winds
• The Bigger They Are
• Inspector Hatchet
• The Gale That Rocks the Cradle
• Bush Blade
• Breaking Dawn

Here is how it works:

• The event will be from 8pm - 10pm server time 12:00PM - 2:00PM PST, 2:00PM - 4:00PM CST, 3:00PM - 5:00PM EST
• All participants will meet at the Uld'ah Aetheryte crystal
• At the start of the event everyone will be split into groups of 4 to party up.
• Each person will be asked to summon their chocobo companion to fill out their group
• Then we will seek to complete the above listed FATEs
