They're not going to ban the bots right now because they can't afford to lose any more players.

It would be sweet, sweet justice to see them all get banned right before the release of major content.![]()

No I dont care, because I bought this game, I play for me, they dont affect me and never have in any game past/present, so why should I care. If peeps wanna bot, let um, isn't really any of your business lol.

Its an MMO. if someone is botting every craft or botting a gathering job it essentially makes half the game pointless for regular players and thus its kind of like SE created the whole crafting and gathering jobs specifically for people who cheat. Those people will be the ones who will get to buy all the epic gear and experiance the game to its fullest.

So? And I cant go do it? You can earn tens of millions without botting in a couple week from level 1, anyone can do it. Thats just how useless gil is and how you can go get all the "epic lootz" that dont exist. Its an MMO. if someone is botting every craft or botting a gathering job it essentially makes half the game pointless for regular players and thus its kind of like SE created the whole crafting and gathering jobs specifically for people who cheat. Theres a guy with rank 50 on every class, does that mean I should just quit because hes done it all so no point me doing it now, /wrists.

you can't compete against 50 people botting 24/7.So? And I cant go do it? You can earn tens of millions without botting in a couple week from level 1, anyone can do it. Thats just how useless gil is and how you can go get all the "epic lootz" that dont exist.

yes you can make gil
but for every 1mil you make a botter will make 5 or 10mil
And when it comes to buying items in the future, there will be 200+ people with huge amounts of gil from botting which will artifically increase the prices of all the goods.
Also means the game will probably end up at some point with hyperinflation. For now a lot of people just hold onto their gil, but if something like dynamis currency comes out those people will buy up all of it, injecting the money they hoarded into the economy at a very quick rate, causing all prices to rise drastically. And at that point your 10mil might no longer be worth anything more than a 5 hour farming session, regardless of it taking you 2 months to get it. That happened on FFXI and caused -a lot- of people to quit the game.

So? They can be as rich as they want, you want to know something? GIL doesnt get the item, it has to come somewhere, weather it be quest, or event, or crafted. It has to come from somewhere first, so all those people will hundreds of millions buying/selling stuff, I will just make that stuff, and sell it, and i've made millions from it.you can't compete against 50 people botting 24/7.

If 10m is only worth 5hr farming session, i'll go farm for 5hrs and get it. Everything a botter can do you can do, because they're only using what the game supplies.
Still just as ignorant as the last time you posted this in a similar topic.
Bots do affect you. It just goes over your head as to how.

Gil was very hard to come by for me since the only leves I have been doing were regional. Most of the gil i spend are on repairs and such. I have never had any more than 1.5mil.
I've been working on my Goldsmithing lately, making Brass Rings and selling for 2k each. Made some really good money, around 200k of profit since I harvest my own ores as well. The Crafting classes are where the gil is at. Still, with the amount you can get from leves, an easy 300-500k a week from leves if you pick the right ones.
Gil is flowing into the economy than it is going out.
Anyways, I've seen a few bots and i know a website where you can buy them. My curiosity got me into doing some research and I found tutorials on how to use them. I really don't understand how they work, but its almost like setting on-going macros.
So its really just a machine doing the work for you. I don't see what the big problem is with crafting or gathering bots, but when you are pitted against an auto-targeting bot, that's when things get personal.
Many people say they are sticking around in a system that they don't really enjoy to have a headstart on everyone else, botting at this level means doing this is retarded since mass numbers of others will be capped and hardly played the game and gil and accounts will be sold by RMT sites cheap as dirt if demand increases anyway.
If you play the game cause you enjoy it then botting doesn't matter too much, if you are playing for a headstart and to be better than others when they turn the game arouind... well, lol at you.
