You have to do quests as a friggen Scholar to get Scholar powers. I mean your same argument could be for not wanting a scholar healer at 30 I mean they just spent 30 levels dpsing they clearly can't figure out how to heal in such a short time.

Seriously getting to 50 doesn't mean crap about knowing how to play a class. I'm regularly seeing Darklight full people who don't know how to play their class in DF.
