Invisible Garuda HM!

Lb3'd garuda on my monk and she disappeared until next jump. Scared the life out of me. O_O

I had the same issue after a peak of lag. As a tank, I was desperate to find her! Then, when she warped herself to the center of the map, she became visible again.

i also had this issue back in sunday
the garuda just vanished after she jumps and summon the feathers
however, after a while she jumps again to summon the sisters, then she re-appears

Happened to me,
I was like WTF where did she go and yet the other party members are still attacking her. Happened to me twice and it was only me that could'nt see. Other party members are fine.

I think this is in-game bug or graphic issues. I remember I joined Garuda HM parties before, when Garuda use certain skill (after half hp) suddenly a red plane appear on my screen but it just appear for a sec.

I share your pain as the only time this happened to me was when I was main-tanking as well. As you say, it only really interferes in that you can't really dodge Slipstream. You should have solid hate at that point and the Follow-The-Leader portion doesn't require you to target her, so not horrifically problematic. She re-appeared when she summoned her second set of sisters. However, the cause is still unknown to me.

I get this issue a lot during prime time. During the day it almost never happens. I'm assuming that it has a lot to do with server lag.

It's not just a Garuda bug. It's any monster that teleports or vanishes from the arena for any reason. For reasons unbeknownst to me, your game fails to render the monster when they return to combat. Happens on ps3 a lot more often than on pc from what I hear, but both platforms have the bug. I've personally had it happen a few times on the Gaius Van Baelsar fight that has a lot of teleporting, but a second teleport normally fixes it. The worst thing about the bug is that it can happen to party members, not just monsters.

Had it happen last night, just spammed Flash and cycled cooldowns until she decided to show me her face again. Was fun!
