Dismissing Eos

I guess this doesn't necessarily have to be in the healer section...but oh well. I ran CM for the first time last night...obviously a speed run (which was fine, wow there are a lot of cutscenes there lol)...people were bickering.

Anyways, a tank asked me to dismiss Eos...I've never been asked or even tried. I tried right clicking her, her name, I looked in her spells...I just couldn't find it. Am I missing something really obvious or do I really need to place her somewhere and run until she goes away. I'm not even sure why they asked me, she didn't cause any problems.

Should be on the pet hotbar, same one you use to Place her.

Oh wow, I feel incredibly stupid right now...its the first one! I guess I was looking for the word "dismiss" and when I saw "away" it didn't connect. And I swear I read the tooltip too. Wow!

I'm not even sure why they asked me, she didn't cause any problems.

People think she pulls agro as you try to sneak past enemies.
I've always kept her out though and it's never happened to me.

Just a matter of luck. Pets will occasionally zig-zag following you and if they happen to zig-zag out far enough and into the field of view of the enemies you are avoiding, they will aggro on the pet.

it does happen sometimes, i always keep her away when i'm doing speed runs anyway she isn't really needed and i'm lazy so i don't feel like summoning her during bosses

I figured it was an aggro thing, I haven't had nearly as much trouble with pets following me as I have in...other games. Luckily I didn't aggro anything I always get really nervous when I'm in a new dungeon...even worse when its a speedrun. I've heard all sorts of horror stories and I didn't want to be the one that messes up lol. Now I know (still feeling stupid!) so I'll only summon her at bosses, if I have time.

In particular the 2 adds standing on the gate after the first boss. I have gone past with Eos out before and nothing other times she has agrod them. As Ladon said she likes to zig zag on occasion. Safe bet just put her away when running past.

There are some hallways and such that screw with pet pathing AI. A good example is in Haukke Manor in the hallway right before the first boss. If you enter the room before it, your pet will fly towards the boss room and will almost always aggro the succubus. You can stop it if you pay attention, and it likely won't be a party wipe encounter, but it becomes more of a problem later when you inadvertently piss off a whole room.

I passed behind them but she decide to go in front of them...
So yeah, just in case dismiss her when you do the sneaking part
