    It's pretty much getting about 12%-18% quality off hasty/basic touch with Inner Quiet, then popping Innovation, Great Strides and oneshotting the bar with Byregot's Blessing (guaranteed 100% at 18% quality assuming base HQ was 1%, and no Good/Excellent modifiers affected quality).

    However, if you're just doing same level crafts, then you can skip on Blacksmithing to 15. I would suggest getting all to 15, but if you want to save every penny possible then you can skip ingenuity until you plan to craft 1/2 star equipment.

    Also, the 1000 character limit is a bit ridiculous. It should definitely be doubled so posts aren't cut so short.

    Hmm, maybe I'll try Byregot's Blessing again. I didn't find it that great in my previous attempts though.
    I usually have enough CP left to do Great Strides+Innovation+Advanced Touch followed by another Great Strides+Advanced Touch (Innovation still active), then use Rumination and finish the synth.

    Regarding Innovation: I thought it should lower the level of the recipe...now that I read it again, I wonder how I came to that conclusion ^^;

    I'm not a big fan of the Hasty Touch approach. The only way Hasty Touch spam works is if you get a lot of good procs. If you don't get any, or hardly get any, you end up ending early because you don't have any more CP for manipulation or steady hands. In short, it's not an endless process that allows you 100% HQ every time.

    There's nothing wrong with using Waste Not, simply because you don't need CP from a good proc. The Hasty Touch spam is mostly going to work only with a lot of the good level 50 cross skills. It won't do you much good when you're leveling your first crafting class to 50 and have just a handful of the level 15 cross skills.

    If you have suggestions that might help people HQ at low levels out by all means share with us otherwise what was suggested is a good strat even if risky at times.

    Terrible advice.

    With all of the 15 cross-class skills except for Rapid Synthesis and Ingenuity, I'm HQing nearly everything that's my level or lower on each of my classes that are still under 20. At 25 culinary, I'm HQing nearly everything that I can make at that level.

    You're obviously doing it wrong.

    Those are good rotations but not the best. I'll keep reading tho till someone nails it. You can hq t2 items at 100% with the proper rotation starting from 0/2950

    Best thing you can do is make sure you got all HQ version of your gear for control. Meld control to every piece of gear if got gil or means. Then on good or excellence use the right ability. stand touch ex. If durability is under 50, At under 50 then just use the cross jobs ability. So at 60-80 durability use, hasty touch, till 10/80, then master mend 2, then if can great strides, basic touch,standard touch, or advance touch if got them. Then might need use food items to get that extra cp bonuse. After hq about 8 or 10 items in a row , then the game sets it this way up so you got like 50/50 afterwards. but can make about 10 items hq in a row.
