    AK run (my first)

So tonight I am gonna try AK for the first time. I am a warrior with AF and DL hands. I wanna try and clear this for my Flames rank. Is there any constructive knowledge y'all can lend in my preparations or things I can keep in mind once I am inside?

Go to Dungeon forums to find the first boss and final boss placement. Try to watch videos of demon wall for visual clues. Use holmgang on the second repulse so you can claim the two adds that spawn on the wall. Don't fall off, watch ground. Listen to your Party. Most likely one of them has been running AK for awhile.

Watch the youtube video many times so you know what to do. I'd suggest getting some level 55 gear and your Ifrit weapon before you que there. Remember, tanks must always be better geared then everyone else to hold hate and absorb dmg output.
Honestly the best way to learn is to go there as a DPS if you have anyone who would be nice enough to let you tag along. The entire dungeon is full of little bits of knowledge you'll need to know to have your run go smoothly.

Yes, do have some gear, but you can do AK with AF and decent accessories. AK is on farm, and you will have some hate issues, but most people you find in there would destroy your ability to hold hate if you don't have a decent weapon. Demon wall isn't too much of an issue as your job is to tank. If you want to go as DPS, you will want to make sure you have current gear.

Demon wall's attack pattern is Inside, Outside, Inside, Outside, Repel, For the entire fight. The hardest part is going to be remembering to keep the movement going when the adds spawn, honestly. Also DO NOT STAND RIGHT UP NEXT TO DEMON WALL, you can still hit him standing a little bit away and you will have less Repel shenanigans as being right up against him sometimes shoots you off in a random direction.

For the final boss, my group pulls him to the corner to the boss's left. Look at the floor tiles going from the statue to the wall, you want to stand on those floor tiles diagonally from the statue and they show you exactly where to stand. The rest of the fight is entirely on your party.

Yes, and if you holmgang the second repel make sure you are far enough from the wall. If you holmgang up against the wall it will respawn you in purple stuff as punishment.
