Has anyone done theorycrafting on stat weights yet?

I've played World of Warcraft for 7.5 years and was pretty big into theory-crafting with it. So and was wondering if anyone has come about any theory-crafting in ARR for how stats determine your overall damage output and which stats have priority over others, particularly for SMN.

Given my limited knowledge, obviously your core stats like STR/DEX/INT/PTY etc are most important. But what about things like Determination and Spell Speed?

Is Accuracy like hit rating in WoW and how much do you need?
    Are there stat caps?

Any information pertaining to these inquiries would be most appreciated!

Yes, a lot of people have. Here's something on Spell/Skill Speed. This was based off P3 mechanics, but it still looks accurate:

So you need about 860 (.5 sec reduction) spell speed before you can really see a difference.

I would assume that this acts like haste-rating in World of Warcraft as a very important if not most important stat for casters. I don't see anything about determination on the doc so that's probably still being tested. I wish I knew how determination works so that i could determine what materia to focus on for min/max stats.

For white mage I find piety more usefull then skill speed. You don't notice the difference early in the endgame maybe if i get full endgame gear the difference is notable.
As white mages sometimes struggle with longer battles the piety helps me more but that is just my opinion.

Unless spell speed reduces my cast time to 0 or at least sub-second, it's not particularly useful for BLMs either. Our base cast times are too long to realise much benefit. Hitting harder is better, so when I *do* get an attack off, or when one of my procs activates, I can make it count for more.

Nope, skill speed is pretty immensely awful for everyone involved.

You'd think with such a long GCD it would be a great dps increase...but...nope.

Mostly it is because it is also impossible to stack skill/spell speed in any meaningful quantity.

A lot of late beta testing was done and documented at http://valk.dancing-mad.com/?page_id=179

Not guaranteed to be 100% the same in release, but it's a good starting point.
