Least played DPS role that is wanted in group/dungeon play.

I have gotten my Dragoon and working on getting all the other classes now to 15 to figure out which I want to play most I have 4 total in mind currently. I only have the ARC and CNJ left to get to 15.

I am wondering what people see as the least played but most wanted of the Damage classes. I am not really worried about wanting to be be a FoTM. I have played enough MMO's to know that every class/job will get the nerf bat at some point and will be OP at some point too.

So anyways in no particular order what I have enjoyed the most in no particular order. LNC, PGL, ACN, THM I will admit THM is at the end but the other 3 are equal fun.

Is there one? I don't mind any of them honestly. I mean the only annoying thing is having 2 BRDs for Demon Wall but if they're geared and coordinated it don't matter. I don't think I there's any class I would not want in my group except WHM. SCH> WHM plz.

Most wanted is based on what I've noticed in shouts on my server. If I see a specific dps class requested, it's usually bard.

I see aot of DRG shouts aswell. Seeing there's only 2 ST dmg LBs and MNK seems to be underperforming compared to DRG they are very attractive to bring in a raid / full party

Just play what you like. Todays OP job, is tomorrows least played job.

I still remember how Dragoons became useless after pentathrust nerf. How Paladin became the least popular job after people figured out Nin was superior in tanking and exp. How manaburns were the only way to go for HNM and how THFs only got 30 seconds of playtime for the final 1% of HNM fights.

Their damage certainly doesn't suffer for it if that is the intention. A good monk can easily top single target DPS - the keyword is "good". Actually finding such a good monk is rare (And I don't count myself amongst that number yet, when stuff gets hectic I often lose my rotations. This student has much to learn ;P )
