Reserving instance

I just spent over an hour in this.

1st 2 queues, tank left at the 15min mark.
3rd queue, full party got in at 20mins. ALL GOT KICKED to login screen.
4th queue. 18mins mark, 1 dps didnt pay attention and misclick.
Currently 5th queue and we are just under 2hrs to reset of myth tomes.

The queue for the queue of the instance gotten stop.
Cant provide the service, dont sell so much subs.

The other issue is the fact that you can literally do everything this game has to offer in less than your 30 free days. I was thinking I probably wont be subbing because there is almost nothing left for me to do. When I do log in, I spend that time in queue for something that I have already done 50 times. Its not that I am burnt out on the game, its just there is nothing left to do.

Cant do content due to queue times + Lack of content to actually do = Lots of ppl not subbing.

I guess I should not have used the word Literally.. I had thought that a poor choice after hitting the post button. I have not maxed every crafting profession cause its not really that fun, and I have not done Coil yet. Other than that there is not much left to do. But I am not really wanting to pay $13 a month just for the privilege of grinding AK/CM 100 more times with nothing other than crafting to do.

I love this game, don't get me wrong. It is so far the best MMO I have played sense I quit WoW back when WotLK started. I just think that it was a very poor decision on the devs part to make it possible to level multiple classes up to max, be in tier 2 gear, and have nearly everything in the game done before the end of the free 30 day period. You should not be able to even come close to completing the content of any MMO in such a short amount of time.

Everything. Everything. You've levelled every class to 50. You've done every storyline quest, every sidequest, every levequest, every guildhest, every FATE, every dungeon, every trial. You have gotten 2nd Lieutenant in all three Grand Companies and earned all the relic weapons. You've done all the turns of Bahamut. You've done all that in 30 days. I'm impressed.

Hmm, 20 min queues on a Monday morning? I knew it was bad (30 mins+) after Monday reset on prime time, but never been there early Monday to see. Kind of makes sense I guess. PS: the 20-30 min numbers are *ideal* circumstances: Full party, no bugs, and no one leaving or AFK.

The main way that you get 60+ minute queues is when people leave party. Either pre-made party kicks you out of the queue completely, or DF party and it says "Party member has withdrawn". Both of those put you to back of the line essentially. Also an interesting observation: at same time there are long lines for a high-demand dungeon, other dungeons are instant start once party together.

Obviously the solution is to provide enough server resources to handle all requests. Eliminate completely the "Reserving Instance" wait. This could be done by adding more instance servers -- other thread says more coming mid-october, check Dev tracker to see. Or they could perhaps reallocate server space from the low-demand instances to serve whatever people are signing up for at the time. Whatever, just so long as "Reserving instance" goes away.

Edit: In the meantime, I recommend capping myth as soon as possible. Don't skip Mon/Tues thinking that queue times will be less later. They will be less, but you risk not capping myth.

You are absolutely, positively, nowhere anywhere remotely near to completing ANY job's content, let alone the entire game's content. Who do you think you're fooling?

How about reading the content of the thread before replying. I one of my posts in this thread I admitted that the word "literally" was a very poor choice. And went to further explain what I ment.

The point was that the meat of the game can be completed very quickly. The story, and even all the little side quests can be done in a very short amount of time.. and you cant seriously deny that.

So my options at this point are to do Coil once a week and log off. Unless I want to spend tons of hours crafting and gathering.. Crafting and gathers are great side activites... but when that is all that is there to be done I am total bored.

In any cause... all this pointless arguing over poorly chosen words has totally derailed the thread.

"Literally" was a poor choice, so would be "theoretically" because you have absolutely 0 evidence that it is possible to complete all content in 30 days (which it is obviously not possible). I read what you posted, and it doesn't make my reply any less true. What you implied was that other people could accomplish all content in a 30 day trial period. This statement is far from true and I challenge you to provide any evidence disputing that fact. Even the Legacy players who started with 50 in all jobs have yet to complete all content. Show me one person who has.

Basically, your whole argument that this game lacks content and is simply a token grind is complete B.S. You don't have to admit that you're wrong, just stop posting out and out misinformation / exaggerations.
