Would you buy it- RE Leves

Say I took some time to craft out some HQ items which were used in a triple-turn-in leve, but posted those items on the market. What price point would convince you to just buy up my stock?

Would you have to break even (800gil per HQ item for a leve which pays 2,400 for a HQ set)? Or would you be willing to pay out for the EXP/item gain for not having to farm up the mats and spend time crafting yourself?

And what about single-item leves? Any difference?

The point of all that is still making use of these leves indirectly after I hit 50. Getting the gil reward without wasting a leve- given that I'd get no XP.

I would pay a premium how much of a premium I could not say. They should be more expensive than the turn in rewards by adding on the convenience value but that is not a stated value and changes from person to person. But If I could buy all 9 from you for 1.5k more than i would make I would totally do that since I saved probably 30minutes of crafting to guarantee all HQ's its well worth the cost for the convenience to get that EXP.

I make my own because a good portion of the experience I get from leves is from the creation of the final products. Buying the final products and turning them in is counter-productive for my preferred way of leveling.

Bear in mind that I like doing things in the most efficient (yet most difficult) way possible. I doubt everyone feels the same way

I was referring to gil efficiency, I suppose I should have stated the most cost-effective

It all just hinges based on what people are willing to pay. If there are none listed you could try to list them high, or just go with what the market history provides. I've been doing this with cooking items. Orange Juice isn't in very high demand and didn't sell often on my server. The last one to sell prior to mine was like 110g for HQ, so I listed some for 150g. Took like 4 days and they sold.

More often than not I find myself being undercut on things though, so you may want to find something that you can make your niche that people don't bother with, due to the complexity of the ingredients or what have you. There's a Salmon recipe in the 20s you don't see often and I was able to sell one for pretty good money. On the other hand, I tried Grape Juice and someone else had the HQs listed for 1300 so I did the same. Not even a few hours later somebody undercut me by half of the price I had them listed for, so I undercut them back since I had no money into the synth as I gathered the mats myself.

I've been buying the HQ class quest items as I hit 50 and plow through the class quests. It's quicker and less of a hassle than trying to track down all the mats.

As for leve items, yes, I'd buy them, but I probably wouldn't pay more than 1250 per item for the 9/15-item repeatable turn-ins. Really varies depending on the XP reward, turn-in location, tier difficulty, etc. For example, there's money to be made on HQ linen levequest items due to the high cost of wool/felt, but in another skill I wouldn't waste leves on sub-40 levels.

You might need to advertise the items in chat to get some movement. I'd imagine that a good deal of people assume you have to craft the leve and class quest items yourself and never thought you could simply buy them from the market.

Selling the HQ item on Market and using that money to buy normal quality items is probably going to give you more exp and gil in total.

Yes people will buy them. When you just want to hit 50 on a crafting profession its a whole lot faster to just buy the items off the market then crafting the HQ yourself. If you are only losing 5k per leve but getting 100k exp its well worth it.
