    Know what I miss?

Belts. I miss being able to see the belts I equipped and not being stuck with pre-set belts on gear.

Me too. There were more possibilities of creating a distinctive look with them, and I loved the black and the red sash.

Blech, tell me about it. Much as I still love my acton it just isn't the same now that it just .. doesn't really have a belt at all. The whole shape of it's changed and it looks so flat..

I agree too. Especially since things like earrings show up, but belts don't. :\

I remember there being a post about why belts went poof back in 1.0 but I don't remember what it said.

    Why'd they remove it again?

So they don't have to worry about clipping issues with hundreds of belts and armour pieces. I'd rather have it this way so we can have even more sweet looking gear down the road, yet I will miss certain belt/armour combos.

So...we gonna just ignore all the other clipping errors then?
Also, what ever happened to that mesh warping tech they showed off before 1.0? It looked like it was going to allow for some great personal adjustments.

That.. was a Crystal Tools feature. I'll bet it was too much effort to transition into the v2.0 hybrid engine, but yeah it was one of the aspects of the original CT customisation that actually worked really well.

I can only assume the mesh warping we do see - acton sleeves and large gloves for instance - is pre-defined rather than intelligent like it used to be.

    'Really sucks >.>

Also yeah Miqo'te tail accommodation in armours was wonderful, 's miserable we lost that and all. Given that was not (so far as I know) an intelligent feature, my bet's on their having done it to save on development costs down the line by not having to make race-custom versions of every armour.

This is why all the girls have guy butts as well. So that all the armors can just be copy pasted to all the races.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
