LS Chat box input

I like the idea that we can break our chat tabs into separate chat boxes to view multiple tabs at once, but I can only ever input text on the main chat box. Is there a way we can add a text input to the extra windows we have open? I personally think this will help me with my LS chat and keeping track of groups of friends. I would like to click on my chat box for my LS chat, and have it default to /LS1 (or which ever else I set it to) and not change my main chat input as it would be a separate input.

Since I joined my Free Company, I keep them on my main chat tab, but have to put my LS on a different tab to keep the clutter down. When I separate the tabs to two different boxes, I can see who's saying what easier without missing a conversation, however having to toggle between /FC /L1 /L2 before talking leads to a lot of miss tells.
