    Dear Devs, you wanna perfect healing spell balance? Easy!

    Please, allow instant cast for healing magic! ... at least for Conjurers / WhiteMages :P.

    Actually, ther are only like 2, of around 20, useful CNJ / WHM abilities those are any effective in dungeons or at Primal battles ...

    Some of poor PS3 users I know who are doing healing jobs are restlessly overstrained now: they have to heal the tank, need to keep party members alive AND heal themselves at same time while, gaining the most enmity, dodging any mob spam and imba AoE spells/skills!

    And own AoE skill are waaay to long to cast and basically imposible to cast most of the time :/.

    No wonder that no main healer wanna to go help fight through those instances anymore!

    Don't take this reply as a 'How to play your job', but I have to disagree. While not all of the WHM abilities are used, they are on par with other jobs. Cure 3 might be my only grip and that even has its uses. Besides Titan past phase three WHM is a very useful DPS through entire fights. Instances like CM allow a WHM to shine, I DPS more then heal there. Not sure how playing on a PS3 is but I use a gamepad on PC and prefer it. Allowing instant Cure cast would make a WHM too good tbh. If I could stay in Cleric Stance and in a matter of seconds turn it off to pop a Cure 2/Regen rotation and go back to DPS something would be wrong.

    I guess it comes down to play style. I grind my teeth when on another job and watch a WHM sit with near full MP just healing when he could be Holy bombing the adds or even Medica II tanking adds themselves. There are dozens of examples for Holy use that make or break runs or shave time off speed runs.

    Forgot to add length of Holy cast. If I am Holy bombing a group of adds the duration of stun requires me to wait a few seconds between Holy casts already. So length of Holy cast is not an issue really. If you were to cast Holy as fast as you could, you would only be stunning the mobs every other cast.

    Well,

    all the summoner / arcanists do have their pets to eat up any enmity or spammed damage.

    Only WHM / CNJ classes are pretty unbalanced right now, 'cause they get all the enmity
    basically anytime, they are annoyed from all the damage to cast any heals ...

    Please, fix that! We need instand healing fo WHM class / CNJ job !

    It can happens if the tank forget to build enmity on a mob of the pack. Thats pretty rare, and its tanks fault.
    Try to use less skills, unless you know that a big dmg is comming, people dont need to be toped of health.

    You already can cast healing spells instantly. That's what swiftcast is for. If you need it more often than that, either you or the party is doing something wrong.

    Now I'm curious. Have been a gamepad user on the PC and though it has been a steep learning curve, has been very enjoyable.

    But now I'm wondering what it's like on the PS3? Is it more than just the gamepad that needs to be overcome? (Like would a 2.5 second GCD act more like 3 seconds?)

    Only if they remove GlobalCoolDown timer for Swiftcast, healing spells would be availale for instant performance :P.

    Why would we want to make the game easier than it already is?
    In all boss fights (and actually any fights, even in dungeons) it is possible to start curing before the tank takes hit and cure the HP back up immediately without the HP even going down.
    One of the main skills a healer in any game needs is the knowledge of the enemy so you are ready to counter every move they throw at the party.
