    gatherering prof

    I start mining a couple of days ago and noticed that the % are wrong. I am at lvl25 mineral deposits getting silver ore on which is at 61%, but in reality I am getting more like 47 to 52%. is this normal?

    If you say mined 10,000 times from those mineral deposits somehow without leveling/changing gear then it would average out at 61%. Since you are taking such a small sample you are more susceptible to larger degrees of variance.

    Hi, your sample size is too small. SE is probably using somewhere in the lines of 100s of thousands. Over that size, you will get avg. Also, as Little_gray points out. other factors need to stay constant as well (Gear/Level/Food)
