No point doing DF HM Primals

Really, there's no point. So far, every group I get in people are using a level 44-47 weapon with level 30-45 accessories. Why do people do this?

They have low level items and go into a Hm fight thinking they can be carry through >.<;

I hope SE is planning to fix this.

It's a little bit hit and miss. Sometimes you can get a good group. Had a few where i joined a premade that needed an extra healer through DF and it was fun. You do get the "Carry me" types though who just think because it's a party of 8 that they don't have to do anything.

I had 90% success with DF on Ifrit
haven't tried the rest but really no issue for Ifrit HM at all...

DF Ifrit isn't too bad really, you get the occasional group that can't dodge or learn patterns but the community has it on farm for the most part. Garuda is a bit harder, but it just comes down to having a decent tank who knows where to go and DPS that don't suck - it only took me three or so tries to take it down with a DF team (which actually went better than joining groups in Mor Dhona; in one of them we were wondering why our DPS was terrible and then discovered that the leader had a level 49 white weapon). Titan's a different story altogether though.

Please post your source. I've seen this said a lot but I have yet to see a source posted. When going through dev tracker and other SE publications re: 2.1 I have yet to find any mention of ilvl requirements in DF.

When I first entered HM Ifrit, the first thing that went through my head was "I wish this place had a gear check before letting me in". Not for the party, but for ME. My heals did jack crap in comparison to my healing counterpart. But because the quest was given to me via story quest before I found the AK / WP quests, I had nothing else to run. So, I ran out to marketplace and bought a bunch of ilvl 48-49 accessories and ran with it.

That said, Ifrit really doesn't require that much. Titan+ do, but at least Ifrit is fine. My highest iLvl item was 50, lowest was 45, and I solo-healed Ifrit twice due to the other healers continually getting into charges/plumes and eventually becoming more of a liability to rez than a help. So I'd say as long as your iLvl average is about 47-48, you can do Ifrit HM.

Only real problem Ive seen is dps on the nails when you don't have blm for LB. Low dps really hurt that instance. Its so routine for most that many times you can over come a bad healer or a slacker but dps and stuns are key and when you dont have em you cant win.

Ifrit is easily farmable using DF.
Garuda is a bit harder, but doable. I've killed her ~25 times in DF.
Titan... Most people don't even pass the heart phase... If they even reach it.

the only primal that i've had 0 success doing in df is titan, ifrit is near 100% success rate and garuda is about 60%
