Hardcore players can also count as "Trolls" with this system, they likely won't vote for anyone but their friends and FC members =/ They also won't use the walk-in dungeon system either when it comes, since they'll want all the MVP Rewards, which, the vote system likely will only apply to duty finder. (Pre-Made parties still use the duty finder, so yeah.)

The keyword was 'random matching' in the interview, which I hope means that you can only vote for those in your party who compose the random element. I mean it'd be kinda silly if they allow players to vote for other players in their FC pre-made party, especially if there are going to be rewards involved. This coupled with that other system they mentioned in the interview, being a 'daily random dungeon' that you can do for bonus items/XP/Gil, I'd say they are trying to free up the FC reserved players and increase the number of them in the duty finder, especially tanks since there is a shortage, while simultaneously encouraging people to 'play nice' if they want a chance at an MvP vote.

And as to insinuating tanks getting all the benefits of this system, I've seen more DPS complimented than tanks or healers in most dungeons in the current endgame.

Either way, as long as the rewards are cosmetic in nature, I wouldn't be bothered by anything. If the system encourages more nice play than I'm all for it, cause the current system sure ain't encouraging anything else if you notice how many threads there are on the subject of player attitude.

As a tank, I know I wouldn't speed run. So I'd probably get a lot less votes :P
