    I think you're confusing lag (which is a networking issue) with system resources (that are being utilized by a processor/memory-intensive game) slowing down other running programs.

    They are 2 totally separate issues.

    Yeah I've gone through all of the powerclycling on the PC and the networking hardware many times. The fps lag has persisted since P3.
