i think my account is hacked

tried to log in and keep getting the 3102 error and noticed there is a new guy made on my account that i am pretty sure i did not make this just started today since the guy was not there yesterday when i was playing.


how do i go about getting this guy off? i already just changed my password

Contact SE support by email, phone call, whatever way miraculously gets you through to them and inform them of the situation, with a little luck, and some time, you may get your account back.

if you get hack, you should ask yourself why and how did that happen. Byw knowing why and how then you can get to the root of the problem.
It usually is because something you downloaded or clicked on web/email/whatever that enable the virus/trojan to infected your system.
Sometimes if you are lucky, you can remove them easy by using free antivirus software or program.
So you should try to update your antivirus and scan the whole computer if you have one, if not go download a free one like avg free or something and do it.

How to protect yourself from getting hacked?
Dont use easy password, make sure you got antivirus and even firewall.
Dont download anything that you are not sure of.
Dont click on any attactment or website that you are not sure of, even sometimes legit website can be infected with virus/trojan.

computer is only 5 days old with only 2 things downloaded on it ffxiv and AVG i mostly play on the PS3 though

when you can login

change all settings .. passwort email .. and so on

take the authenticator

if you contact the support you account get banned and SE controll it ... takes 2 weeks and longer .. in this time you cant play

so i was finally able to log in and delete the guys character and changed my password and added the token, is there a way to stop the email i sent to SE to not ban my account

replay on the same ticket number and say you have fixi it by self

change email also if it posible

Stop blaming the users for getting hacked. This has nothing to do with them. grow up and read the forums.
