    Strange Disconnection Error

    Hello Lodestone forums,

    I've just started having this strange error. It's been happening for the last few days now, it's kind of strange and very hard to explain But I will do my best.

    I will be using the happenings of today as my example.

    Today I have been using the Internet fine all day, watching YouTube videos watching a couple of live gaming streams, scrolling through Facebook that kind of thing with absolutely no disconnections, latency, errors anything.

    I now start final fantasy 14, place login details and log in to the game. that's all fine. main menu appears and it takes a couple of seconds for the "start" button to light up. that's ok. now here is were it gets strange.

    As the game is loading my character lists, all connections to the Internet drop off and reset. the game then says lobby error 2002, and shuts down. after a couple of seconds the Internet has refreshed itself and is working just as before.

    I go into FFXIV again. and yet again the same thing happens.

    I have never seen anything like this before, and I'm wondering if anybody knows what this could be?

    Now this has changed slightly, I can log in to the game and appear at the main menu/title screen, but after a while the start button does not light up and, game exits with a lobby server error 2002. even though Internet connection is still stable and strong.

    It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
