Sky and Underwater Combat

Will there be Sky and Underwater Combat in the future and flying mounts too?

Yoshi wants to do it, but is has not been confirmed when it will be implemented (or even IF it will be implemented). That being said, we should not expect either sky or underwater content, until a new expansion is released.

i know for a fact yoshi said there will be sky zones
and he said that there will be sky fishing.

i also slightly remember talk of being able to swim underwater (most likely a idea from players that will be considered by dev team if even possible.)

but sky is 100% coming sometime.

I personally would like to avoid flying mounts. In my opinion they bring nothing good to an MMO and only serve to make the world feel smaller.

This is exactly why GW2 devs said "No flying." It allows content to be skipped over unless flying is restricted to zones. While swimming can share zones with the current ones we have and there was a poll on flying/swimming and swimming won, but sadly Yoshi wants the sky zones more as they're easier to incorporate and design.

I don't see how two wrongs make a right. Being able to teleport is a bit different too. It doesn't change the way/perspective you view the world from. It just eliminates the amount of time it takes to move from one place to another.
