Selling HM Runs - Is it against TOS?

So it popped up in shout on Leviathan that according to Section 2.2 under the ToS that selling HM runs is a bannable offence. After reading this section I am finding it difficult to determine whether it is true or not.

Section 2.2 Reads:
You may not sell, purchase or exchange for real-world money or value any in-game currency, accounts, characters, in-game services, or in-game virtual items. You may not play the Game for the purpose of acquiring virtual items or advancement in game play on behalf of a third-party or for the purpose of selling any virtual assets to a third party for real-world money, specifically including "gold-farming" and power-leveling services.

The Bold is what has me confused a bit on this. Anyone feel that this could be worded just a little better? Is selling run through's considered an in game server?

No real-world money is involved, problem solved.

Plenty of real-world money is involved as at least some of the customers of these services will have purchased gil. It's only a matter of time before SE intervenes and dishes out bans/suspensions without discrimination. It's already happened to the crafters.

I hate to say it if you ever used the Market Boards... you are involved in RMT money. So by this logic SE should ban 99% of the playerbase for having some rmt gil.

So this is not a reason not to do it... we just have to assume SE will stop being stupid with how they handle this. Ban the seller and direct buyer, but once the money enters the economy past that level it no longer is worthy of banning. Can't arrest a store clerk for selling a candy bar to someone who just robbed a bank and stopped by the corner store while running away.

You can apply the same logic to ppl purchasing HQ material and equip in the Market Board.

By that logic, do we ban all crafters? Or anyone who used the market boards?

If the run is being 'sold' for real life items, yes. For ingame items/gold, it doesnt appear so.

Cannot exchange in game things for other things of real-world money or for something that has value in the real world. This is irrelevant to selling runs unless they're doing it for real money.

Selling runs is not against the ToS, some people just don't like that people do this.

I think the key words are " for real-world money" so if they are not charging real life money it's not against the ToS.

Really? If that was the case any sale in game for gil no matter what it is would break it. Dont really know if he's being a troll or serious.

Problem not solved. It states real-world money OR value any in-game currency. Do you have something better?
