I'm just waiting for my FC to level up enough to run CM with. In the meantime, I fish and use the DF to gradually run CM, so that when they catch up I can be the best I can be for them.

I've watched the elitism gradually develop. Now it looks like you need to be "geared" with relic or you cant get a CM group.

The problem is charity. The environment doesn't encourage it, doesn't reward it. It is not fertile soil for charity to grow. So evil grows instead.

The selfish elitist snobs who can't bring themselves to be charitable toward someone who doesn't meet their insane standards are evil.

Usually the knucklehead elitist cliques roll out after they burn themselves out, so let them grind won't be long before they steamroll themselves out.

    I started end-game this week-end and I don't think it's THAT bad
yes, I had to cut cutscenes for my story (7 people already did it numerous time, I felt like I could watch after in the inn)
    But people were nice.

I also aggro'd some monsters and place myself kinda bad one or two times and nobody shouted at me or anything.

Only problem is that nobody explained anything so as a healer, I could just focus on healing but I have NO IDEA of the mechanics in CM (the canon things, the access keys... no clue).
So I just follow and heal

Same for Wander's palace. I had no clue about that big tomberry but nobody was disgusting.
So I feel everything is quick, no talk and no extra fights/exploration.

Everything seems to be speed run but I did not mind, no issue so far

That said, if one is new to a dungeon/instance run - you ought to tell. It's also an ass move not to reply when someone asks that.

Garuda/Titan runs however need a gear check - anyone less with DL/AK gear and/or with a white weapon at that should really not attempt them in hopes of getting carried.

I've noticed that the elitism is prevalent these days; worst ones are the one criticizing others when he's undergeared as well - typical pot calling the kettle black.

I'm running on relic and some AF2+DL gear; I don't see any reason bitching out others when it's CM/AK/Ifrit - these dungeons do not really require a gear check, in particularly when one's self is decked out with sufficient AK/+DL gear. IMHO; if you're doing your stuff correctly - you shouldn't need to worry about others' gears and it's a very much ass move not to help out the new guys or the very least give advice them. If you've been pubbing all day and been getting new guys; and are pretty much sick of it - just back off graciously and tell them that you've had enough and not combust in their faces. There's no reason for being rude.

While I know everyone has their needs vs time situation going on, I have to agree. Post 50 general community sucks pretty bad. Not everyone mind you, and I have met some swell folks on HM Primals and tomestone runs, but overall, there are way more dirtbags than there are good folks.

The main reason why all our raiding is done in-clan. Dirtbag problem solved ^____^

I was one of those 50's whom reached 50 roughly two weeks after launch, I ran into many dbag players however I also did speed runs. I was a Paladin farming for my Darklight shield, the only shield worth a damn till HM Titan, and it only dropped off the last boss in Wanderer's Palace. I failed so many time on that last boss because DPS couldn't handle keeping the mechanic below 4 or them taking to much damage that I died when attacked by the boss.

In the end I actually unsubbed/stopped playing about 3 days after I hit 50, within the first 3 weeks of launch, due to the fact that there was only two ways for me to get gear which could take upwards of 2+ hours with a high risk of no completion. Personally I think it's the difficulties of some dungeons or mostly group content due to various client optimization issues causing such bad behavior, not to mention the sheer lack of content to keep max level players busy in PvE.

I'm also a PS3 player, so I've had hate against me due to that as well. On another note I did enjoy playing FFXIV during my time playing it but once I figured out I had to spend hours upon hours doing the exact same two dungeons before I could even get into the real "end game" I quit. I'll try FFXIV again once the PS4 client comes out and lots of the issues with the gear grinding wall has been removed by at least adding 3 or 4 more dungeons to get gear from that I can use to start tanking HM Primal fights with.

This is actually not atypical for a MMO, usually the first groups of people to reach end game content are the ones with limtless time on thier hands to do so, that means young people with no job. As the internet has shown us over and over again that demographic is rife with hyper douchebaggery. The only real solution is to pay your sub (if you havent already of course) and wait till the more 'casual' players that have a life/job/family and cant dedicate 20+ hours a week to a single game.

So from what I hear this... Duty Finder on NA region is totally opposite than Duty Finder in JP region then...

In here, they are always polite and respect, and if they plan to make a speed run group, they would shout in town instead.
