WP? AK? Dont require video guides. At most you wipe once or twice and learn from your mistakes, or your brain tumor is inoperable anyway.
CM/Praetorium? lol
HM Ifrit, Garuda? No video guides required. Basically just need to know normal mode, learn an extra ability.
HM Titan? Binding Coil? No video guide required. Learn the pattern with your group, wipe a few times to learn how to work as a group before moving onto more difficult content.

Everything in this game eases you into fights. They introduce one or two mechanics at a time per phase so players don't get overwhelmed. I'd much rather recruit players who are capable of learning and critical thinking than take a monkey regurgitating a YT video or a wikipedia strategy because they are more valuable in the long run.

That said, when you use the DF you agree to take the risk of getting first timers. If you want to set requirements for your group, then make your own public party. If you come across a newbie in DF and yell at the guy to "go watch videos", you're being highly unreasonable. Yes, we've played MMOs for years, but theres a good chance out there that you'll meet people in DF who claim FF14 to be their first.
