So what you are saying is having a white mage have to wait for the Divine Seal and Presence Of Mind animations to go off before being able to cast Medica to heal you is a good thing? .... why do i need to spin around when i cast Divine Seal anyway.

You can (and are most likely meant to) cast those buffs between your GCDs. One of them, not several. Cure, PoM, Cure, etc.
This is how all healers I know do it and it works well for them.
Question: What do you mean with "spin around when i cast Divine Seal"?

Edit: As you cast it between your GCDs there is no actual waiting for the animation to wear off before you can heal. It just prevents you from using multiple "instant" (off GCD) abilities at once.
