What does your daily FFXIV experience look like?

the only times i vary from that schedule is when i have a date or go to work

Grind a bit, do some levequests, fish a bit, make some sand, eventually lose interest/forget what I'm doing, do homework, then browse forums.

What I do is random from day to day... sometimes its a normal day sometimes we think of interesting things to do! Hmm what are things I have done...

Well I always try and get my 8 crafting leves since my goal is to get every craft at least to 30, though there are a few I want to get to 50.

I try and do all 6 leves (2 per city) for my gathering to get the most EXP per reset that I can get.

Might do a few 30's or 40's with LS mates in spare time either because I have them or to help.

At the moment we have some new members, so of course I'm always up for helping them.

I am also helping with getting people 25-35 gear off of the new lower level NM's that were just introduced so might go do that whenever people feel like it.

Then of course there are the LS events we do such as

Run for your Life: Which was a race though Mor Dhona

Drunk Fishing: Yes we made a drinking game out of fishing... hey we got a shell full of like 15+ fisher now heehee!

Behest Runs

Special event leve runs.

Group events for gathering where we get the items that people need the most, get into teams make each item worth 'x' points and then see which team gets the most and wins.

Oh we also did a screen shot event, had two categories one for nature and one for battle. The winners had awesome shots and it also encouraged exploration to find out of the way areas of beauty people might not normally have seen.

We also to Camp runs now and then for different zones where we will get a full party and run to all of the main and sub camps getting everyone all of the camps they need instead of just teleporting them and making it easy. Also encourages doing things together and exploration for the newer members.

Of course we also have just regular leve get together.

Crafting and repairing peoples items.

Soloing a bit here and there, usually on my gathering classes. I love to gather my own materials to save money, and of course anything I don't need I give to my LS mates who do and vice verse.

Um... yeah lol I'm sure I'm forgetting something. We try and stay as active and possible, game is very fun and enjoyable that way!

My experience with FFXIV isn't daily so much as it is weekly. This his how it goes:

1) Log on
2) Check LS list
3) If people aren't on, log off try again next week. If people are on, start chatting it up
4) Shoot the breeze in LS chat with some of the coolest people I've met in game while mindlessly running circles throughout Uld'ah

That's really just what I do. The game has become a resource intensive chat room for me but the people are really cool. I wish I could just convince my LS mates to join me on Vent or something, lol.

9) Attempt HQ synths on End Game Tools/Weapons/Armor
10) Talk to LS people/Help them make tools/weapons/armor & Repair
11) Anything else anyone else wants to do... sometimes do Regional Leve's

Usually kills 6-12 hours of my day, any of all of those

Yes, it does sometimes feel like work!

But on the other hand, I appreciate the extra SP we get for doing leves rather than grinding outside of leves.
And for crafting, we get all of the required materials courtesy of the NPC, which is nice if we don't need the finished items ourselves. ^^

Nobody is forcing you to do leves to progress in the game. It is entirely possible to progress in the game without doing a single levequest. They make it easier and give lots of rewards, but those are indeed bonuses rather than requirements.
