How were the graphic models better in the original?

I played 1.0 but dont remember how the models were different, are there any comparison screenshots, where they using 1080p textures? more polygons??

I know about the ass issue but what else.

I am hoping that a lot of the sub-par graphic issues will disappear or at least improve significantly when they release the dx11 client. *fingers crossed* At the very least, we should get tessellation!
