    Relic Quest and Spiritbonding

    so i'm on the WHM quest for relic. It asks for a Madman's whispering rod with 2 quicktongue 3 materia melded....so i happened to be using one at the time, so i spent the cash, melded it with 2 QT3 materia...and i can't hand it in....i'm guessing because its spiritbonded. so WARNING...im guessing you need a brand new copy of the weapon....

    ok thats weird....

    i switched to culinarian...and then the quest completed....cant explain....

    You can't have it equipped as it removes it from your inventory and therefore is not complete. Changing classes put it back in so it showed as complete.

    Pretty much what what Neo said, now be forewarned, that weapon of yours is gone, no getting it back until you finish the relic quest which gives you your relic weapon. My suggestion is getting a new weapon before find out it's not equipped.
