How to make gil

Well since so many people complain that they cant make gil I will give them some options.

How to make gil as DOW or DOM:

Step 1: Buy cheap lvl 48-50 gear that wont affect your combat effectiveness too much. For example a full set of 48-50 jewelry works well.
Step 2: Do 2 easy dungeon runs like CM
Step 3: Convert all cheap items to materia

Outcome: 200 tombstones + 5 lvl 3 materia. With tomstones buy materials for 125 each that are worth 30-35k on my server. Total gain for 2 runs is about 70-150k depending on materia you get. Takes less than 2 hours total.

question 1: need all players create fresh gil?
question 2: is it wrong to trade with other players to get gil which someone else created?

There are enough ways to create (not trade) gil. The problem is, some players refuse to do it. Mostly the players who complain later about the gil.
It is ok if they don't want to create fresh gil themself. But telling them they should not trade with other players because it don't bring fresh gil ingame don't make it better.

And 1000 times, it's not our problem. Square Enix can easily tweak gil sinks and gil creation should there be a need. Apparently there is a need, and they are working on doing so. So what? I don't care where my gil comes from as long as I can make it.
